A Discovery of Witches is fantastic, as is the sequel, but the third book, which I finished recently, was disappointing and I only gave it three stars. I found that the main characters had become veeeery annoying to me.
I've read the first (and almost all of book two) book in the All Souls Thrilogy ... so when you recommended a discovery of witches for those who like outlander I just got really happy and excited ... and I may have pull all the Outlander books in my bookshelf on storytel 😅 Thanks Sasha! ♥️

If you liked Darkfever I really think you'd like the Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle! I finished it a few months ago and it's so good! It's another slow-burn type romance with paranormal elements and it's super creepy and funny and awesome. Great video! I got a lot of great recommendations, so thank you! :D

:D You're welcome, I know that feeling I've been desperately trying to find more uf series now after finishing Downside Ghosts now but so far no luck. I think if you like EIT you should like it because it has that same mix of humor, creepiness, slow burn, and the two main love interest also work together like partners and solve paranormal cases (not the same dynamic as Perry & Dex but a similar vibe sometimes). Though, DS is definitely more on the gritty side and Chess is a drug addict and really unlike any heroine, I've ever read. Also, there is this broken type of English a lot of the characters speak, which is where I personally had a hard time getting into in the first book but came to love it throughout the series

I think if you like The Wrath and the Dawn you might like The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. It's an adult fictional retelling of a biblical story that centers around female love and loss, motherhood and family. It's extremely emotional and a book that I feel many women would enjoy! I would love to hear your opinions on it if you were to ever read it! Even though it's a biblical retelling it's not an extremely religious book so I would hate for that to deter some people from reading it.

I just finished reading Nemesis by Brendan Reichs and I rlly think you should read it. The ending rlly jacked me up and I had tears and jumping up and down LITERALLY JUMPING UP AND DOWN IN JOy ok well the book starts in one way and the end is like completely different and shocking and wtf
