There is some confusion between episodes 1.24 (Space Patrol Kids Visit) and 2.18 (The Speech Writer). Both have similar plots and casts (Mamie and children). However, two facts show that this episode is not 1.24 but is actually 2.18. First the book "Say Goodnight, Gracie!" by Susan Sackett and Cheryl Blythe states the Sylvania Award was mentioned at the end of 2.18 as it is here. Second, "Star of the Family," the series mentioned at the end, only alternated with the Burns & Allen series in 1952, well into the second season. So this episode can NOT be 1.24.
