This hack puts a lot of love into adding tons of Digimon to catch and use in the Pokemon Emerald world.
Cooper, I think the reason you couldn't PoisonPowder the Budmon is because last I saw, this was made in 2022, during Gen 8 or 9 (leaning more on 9), and since Gen 6, Grass types are immune to the Powder moves, Stun Spore, and Spore.
That makes a lot of sense.

A few mon, including Yuremon's and Pichimon's evolutions, can evolve into three or four different forms. I would suggest grabbing a few Digieggs, to test the waters.
I definitely will buy any egg the poke dex tells me to buy.
Several Pokemon have many different routes for instance kunemon has three
1. Level up
2. Shiny digiegg
3. Black digiegg
YukimiBotamon is what Hikari's partner was before it was Gatomon. Though I can't remember if they actually showed it as a YukimiBotamon in the shows and/or movies. I do remember they showed it as a Salamon at least once during the original series. It's been forever since I've seen the original show, but I grew up with it, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Mostly, I grew up on Pokemon as it was always more popular, but whenever there was a chance, Digimon was in there. We had Digimon World 4 as our family time for a while until my cousin messed up my moms save, and my other cousin did something to my memory card that it quit saving and would randomly delete data.
Damn. Digimon world 4 with family sounds hectic and funny.
@CasualCooper It was at times, but it was usually just my mom, dad, brother, and me playing. Younger cousin would save over my mom's character, making her restart. My older cousin stole my memory card and only returned it like a month later. By that time, my brother was the only one still playing it. Mom quit playing cause of my cousin constantly saving over hers. Dad just quit playing one day with no explanation why. I quit since I couldn't play without it deleting all my progress randomly. But it was fun while it lasted usually played before bed or after school. As such my brother was the only one to beat it lol.

I'm happy with my digivolution of Kuwagamon. I like that it is like a heracross being bug fighting.
Great video Cooper love the concept of this game it's like the pokedual but with digimon can't wait to see what your baby digimon turn into and who will be in your team keep it up dude

I love coming into this blind since every area has new digimon to discover and every evolution seems to be a bit of a surprise.

I hope you find Kuramon, Diaboromon is one of my favorites. Kuramon is very difficult to train up, but trust me it's worth it.
Kuramon is pretty cool.
Use the random encounters to level up your weak digimon. Might help you in the late game.
I'm not as worried about that until I get exp. share.

i agree. I think i prefer tamer battles over wild battles and digimon focuses so heavily on wild battles

I want to see the others evolve now. A Kuwagamon seems way too strong to have at the start?! It's wild they give you that option, but maybe it's not as strong as it seems.

Seeing Starmon I realized that Digimon don't talk in this game. I completely forgot they can.
Yuki is becoming my favorite little digimon. Deku the Kuwagamon is insanely powerful for the start, but much like a beedrill will fall off a little later in the game.
@@CasualCooper Kuwagamon makes sense I guess. I realized Digimon go way further than "just 3 evolutions" like Pkmn, so maybe a champion level isn't as impressive as I thought either, haha. This weekend I'll finally have some time to binge some more episodes! ( it's really cool you're interacting with comments btw!!! o: )
@@Sixalaa Yeah. Some of these guys evolve 4 times and they pass up little deku quite quick.
Tbh there is always a rare one in each area ie vee is in rout 1 and diavoromon first one is in rout 2 where you found woodsy
That makes sense to put a rare digimon in every place.
Double battles were made around gen 3
not sure about wild but safe to assume itd work the same
As far as I know double wild battles were only a thing in Gen 5. Gen 6 tried horde battles, and gen 7 that weird SOS mechanic, but not real double battles.
A few hacks add them, including Mega Moemon Fire Red

I know this is an old episode, but you didn't use a Shiny Digiegg on Kunemon. You used the Black Digiegg, but not the other option.

Just started the game myself and ran into that Elecmon Trainer and the Budmon Lady with basically only two water types. They both almost beat me up, but somehow my only loss so far is against Roxanne.
I do not blame you for losing to roxanne. she is wild. I was caught off guard by her toughest 2 mons.
@@CasualCooper I really should't have won my second try because I made a big mistake, but I was incredibly lucky. Her first two Mons were fine for me cause I had 2 water types and one of them matched up really well. Third mon slaughtered my team so bad, I had to evolve my starter.
I just won against Wattson and while it was really close, I am still at one loss so far xD
Anyway, I'd love to follow this LP, but I want to figure out the evolutions myself. So I'll stay with your older Digimon stuff for now.

Yep. We check the dex quite a lot. No need in episode 2 though.
Don’t know which starter to pick because I don’t know what and when each digimon are.
Depends on if you want water grass or fire. I wanted grass so i went with tanemon.

See that's what I was thinking, but I was pretty happy with Kuwagamon my baby deku. I'll keep the other Kunemon for level up for now.
@CasualCooper maybe you can catch another one just for the stone evolution and still use the current one for the level up evolution

No worries. Dropped just means they are in the box till i get exp. share. Though I hope you also play this game too if you haven't already. It is really fun.

Mokumon is A PAIN to level up... it is a Metapod into it evolve... I really don't like weak digimons/pokemons like this when you don't have EXP Share...
I grew up with leaf green so I'm mentally prepared to train some guys using switch training. Though it is dangerous to do so not knowing how long it will take to learn moves or evolve.
@@CasualCooper i did it too, i also grew up playing Pokémon and i played from the very beginning with Pokémon Blue. But it still a pain, specially when the EXP is so low and your digimons don't have much HP at the beggining and no good moves. You'll constantly go back to the Digi Center to heal. At least in Blue, i had my loyal Pidgeotto to tear the Viridian forest bugs to help my Caterpie to evolve, and even Bulbasaur could help. In this digimon game, the creator made it painfull.
Can Kuwagamon digivolve any further in this game? If so, how?

Hey umm I downloaded the game but is a setting wrong or something cause I can't see stats or move details so can someone tell me how to fix this?
go to the creator in the description, then he has a digimon emerald video. then in that video is a link in the description for the website to download it, there are there descriptions on how to download
It says it's not a valid rom file
how do i get the game to save? it won't register a save file. i'm using mGBA emulator for running the game
I'm using the same emulator. When I save in game it saves the game like normal.
@@CasualCooper well its not registering a save file. each time i boot the game up it gives me an error message telling me no save detected and no save registered.
and the digimon community on reddit is not any help either. so i got no idea what to do

Hawkmon disappointmented me today, I was hoping for Peckmon, but he only has one disappointing evolution.
That's a bummer. I'm glad you got a hawkmon though cause you probably won't see any birds on my team.

Description
You should give yourself more credit on your Digimon knowledge. You know the basic route that they can take (even if Digivolution is more free than Pokemon evolution) at least of the main Digimon from the show.
I feel like that small amount of knowledge may not apply since this game uses a lot of digimon I have never seen before. Like Petitmon.
