I really enjoyed beta testing the game, this is gonna be so much fun when it comes out. I just hope niantic doesn’t ruin it in the long run.

@@arfianwismiga5912kind of, except a bit more in depth from what I've played. You need to tap to hit the thing like pokemon, but you also have to target specific spots for tail breaks, swipe to dodge attacks, use a shield to block and stuff like that. I'm definitely looking forward to the actual release date

@@Av8r0214 there is a closed beta and people have leaked a couple screenshots but not much. I'm such a MH simp I'll play it regardless. Hoping to lose some weight when it comes out :P

Though I’ve heard a bit of chatter this will be their new “Mobile” release (like rise on switch) so they can focus in on doing releases on beefier consoles like they did with MH world. So love it or hate it I’m content with it being made if that could be the result, monster hunter deserves to be in glorious 4K Ultra High resolution. Also cause I like playing MH on my computer and not having to pay for online like the cheap bastard I am. Lmao
@@Av8r0214 Absolutely agree. What do you think the new thing for MH6 will be? Being able to swap between two weps in the middle of a fight? Completely open world? Small Monsties to replace palimutes?
@@Malaluna_ hmm...well I think they wouldn’t do the first one cause it’s already kinda in the game. An open world would be interesting but I don’t know if they have a way they would do that smoothly but if it happens I’m all here for it. That third idea though, that would be quite interesting, cause they already “kinda” did that in world, and I know someone made a mode for MH world that let you have a monster as a buddy, so it’s certainly doable. I think “Based Controls MH Stories” would be a very interesting game mechanic. If I’m being realistic I think they’re gonna try and keep merging the two versions of the game, as there are two “flavors” of monster hunter right now, the World type and the Generations type. The sorta blurred the gap with wire bugs so I wanna see them go full ham and give us the Hunting styles again, and do a lot more with the Siege mechanics they made for world/iceborne and then used literally one time each. Though I would wager they’re going to aim for bigger, more detailed maps with lots of interaction with the movement mechanics and vertical openness rise’s movement mechanics allow for (probably something like a climbing claw or wing drake to ride for example). What would be REALLY dope is to see them try the aquatic combat again, the feature had a lot of missed potential in 3 due to clunky controls, plus then we could have non-diet Lagiacrus back, and I know a lot of people would be excited to see that. Plus nothing would add to the immersion of the world to have the player able to swim through lakes, rivers, etc. It always felt weird to me there only a single stream in World. But I’m just pipe-dream rambling at this point.

Did People actually complain about that? The game is literally about fighting mythical creatures!! Who is whining about it not being realistic...like remember when you find that unicorn (Kirin) and then a gorilla (Rajang) eats it and gets lightning powers? Remember literally the coral highlands in their entirety? Some dude out here trippin’ for real.

I never got Pokemon Go, but maybe this game will get me outside. It also will be morbidly hilarious to see if we get the same sort of nonsense we got in Pokemon Go's early days, similar to the stuff in this animation.

I doubt we will, while the series isn’t necessarily niche in the west I’d say it’s unlikely this will get a lot of people out and about. Just take the W that this means they have an excuse to make another World type game on home console since they made a new product for their “on the go” demographic.

Good lord I hope the game is just Monster Hunter Dynamic Hunting 2. Like I’ll accept their goofy ahh Niantic “make me leave my cave” shit as long as the actual game is fun. And I KNOW they can do that cause MHDH was made to be played in 3 minute intervals with swipe and tap controls almost a decade ago. Love to see the new video btw, keep up the good work!

I don't have a mobile, but do you legit have to make physical contact with the stuff using your phone? Or can you just do the motion by running your finger on the phone? Or can you not abuse your phone for this?
