Always loved this show! Inspired me to play trumpet I was spellbound by her beauty and this wonderful “sounds” she sang out. Now, 40 years later , she and her voice are just as beautiful to me except now I can understand most of what she is saying.
@Robert Taylor I always loved The Lawrence Welk Show also, and I loved Anacani! I don't know if you know this, but Anacani made her own outfits for the show. That's what she told Mary Lou Metzger (also from the show). For many years, PBS would play TLWS every Saturday about 5pm, and I would watch it, but I haven't seen it on PBS in some time. I love the show and the cast, and the music! The joy they've given countless people is unimaginable! When I watched the show as a little boy, I had a crush on Sandy.
