- Finally the first sub 18 run has been achieved. You might be asking yourself, "how could the first run below 18 minutes be under it by 14 seconds?". The answer to that is the new switch update that has improved loading zone times for many games. Each loading zone is about .5 seconds shorter, and adds up over the run. But I believe this would still be a new world record with the older loading zone times.

Really the only major fluke this run though
It's honestly one of the worst levels in the run because you need to be pretty precise with it, but it's so much faster than the other levels we skip if done right.

So is 2 player coop a different category? I'd imagine having two people working on it at once would have a lot more optimization opportunities.
Yes, it's a different category. However, having two people be synchronised on a speedrun is fairly difficult, but yes if two people were coordinated enough to pull it off good, it could and probably would be faster than the singleplayer record.

Good, but there are many ways you could improve, for example, on action cactus, spending even a second more to make a more efficent shape would be better, and on alley oop you need a perfect swish. Overall Really good

The Best Dolphin this is the any% category. That means they don’t need to do all the levels, just enough to get to the end if the game. I suggest you look at other speed runs for that. I think the category is called 100% or complete speed run. I’m not sure

Ambroise Army [bts] I know that part really looks like a cut but the game always snaps into place during that transition (watch any other video and you'll see it). Pay attention to the upper part of the screen and you'll see the characters stay in the exact same position and shape.
