Trains at Sherwood on 18th December 2024

Starting with an empty railset train with 4 empty ballast wagons at Wacol, I then joined a small group of enthusiasts at Sherwood to see them headed through Sherwood with the ballast wagons to be dropped off at Maryborough for repairs. Next we photographed and videoed PN009 with train 8UP9 climbing up from Moolabin. After a short wait for the road through platform 2 it traveled onto the main down line.
During a shower of rain, PN008 and a load of containers arrived from the north via the Up main line and crossed to the Up suburban line then through platform 1 and on to Moolabin.
Lastly 2348D and 2387 on a light engine run out to Corinda via platform 3 and returning via platform 4.
