1978-1979 I have wonderful memories of my year spent in Hull. Boy, did it snow that winter! Few pennies saved for the gas heater. Old windows that wouldn't close properly. But still, how happy I was ! Hull will stay in my heart forever. Promise.

In willerby 5 miles away from hull we had thick snow 15cm

Kinj In Birmingham we had like 6 -7 inches which is..a lot.
in north east somerset we got about 6-7 inches with 1-2 metre snow drifts
I'm in Wiltshire and we got a crazy amount. Around 6 inches at the worst part of the storm, drifts were 2ft+ in some areas.
I'm glad a snowman was created - but I have to say this storm was less than beastly, in comparison to videos of North American storms.
