Apollo, spin? Spin. He was definitely spinning, and I LOVE that he was whistling the theme song from Ed, Edd, & Eddy. It's the little things that make me super happy.
The thing that impresses me about Apollo and it may be a rote thing because of how the modeling sessions work but he seems to understand the implicit English adjective hierarchy at least on a basic unconscious level. It can be a weird concept because it’s not a thing you’re taught growing up so kids and second language learners tend to play around with it saying things like “empty black big box” whereas when Apollo comes up with fake objects I’ve noticed he follows a colour+ material + object pattern like ‘Black cloth block’ He at the very least seems to understand the colour comes first.
It's so interesting, recently I was thinking he's been copying Tori more and was wondering if it was because she answers and Dalton asks a lot of questions, so when they're doing training we hear Apollo copy Tori more. But this video was mostly Dalton's voice, even with the answers. I just find Apollo so fascinating.
Why does he puff up so often? I thought that was mostly a defense mechanism they do when scared. He doesn't seem to be distressed in any way, but is still puffed up quite often.
At one point in this video Dalton mentions “You just went outside, took a shower and everything.” It sort of looks like he might be still drying off a little. Just a guess.
Apollo: Apollo, stop
Dalton: stop what?
Apollo: this 😈
I saw your comment and was like …huh? … and then 4:44 hahahaha
love that one of his favorite things to say is the "oooooh I gotcha" dalton says when they play together
Oh I got da burd!
"Ooh, I got the bird." Always a favorite.
4:40 Apollo preemptively scolding himself for mimicking screaming birds
dalton: stop what? you're being good.
apollo: screams
dalton: yeah you can stop that 😂
He's a very sassy bird XD
He's a man with a plan.
I absolutely *lost* it at that part!
4:32
Apollo: * chews on his own toe nails *
Also Apollo: "oi, no chewin"
"This is color bla." Greatest quote made by a bird
Or when he said "this is the wow." Lol.
At 1:35 he's clearly simulating Dalton playing with Soleil. Incredible that he's reconstructed a whole interaction.
0:02 Oh my god he knows the Ed Edd and Eddy themesong!!
Yes! I love that as well.
Ed would love Apollo.
I was crocheting while watching this video and I wasn’t expecting Apollo to start tripping up my stitch count
SAME!!! I’m making my family market bags and wash cloths for Christmas 😂❤
Isn’t he amazing!?!?
The way he knew he would be told to stop before making screeches 🤣
I needed a good bird rant today. ❤
Do you ever look at Apollo when he says something and think: 'where did he learn that?'
NO CHEWIN
#1.25 - Apollo does his little spin on the cat walk. Fabulous king.
That was truly a display of his magnificence
Go off, king!
I love when he's super talkative.
Apollo, spin? Spin. He was definitely spinning, and I LOVE that he was whistling the theme song from Ed, Edd, & Eddy. It's the little things that make me super happy.
He’s the best bird
Apollo: What's this? Fire.
Dalton: Fire? This is a pecan nut.
That part is hilarious to me.
@3:30
The variety of noises he can make is fantastic. I love him. You're such a talented and good bird, Apollo. Kind regards from Germany.
Yes, Germany loves Apollo❤
How much coffee did you give him? Sounds just like me after 2 cups. I adore how he does ‘What’s this called?” 🤣
The student has become the master
Just going through his sound library lol

He babbles like a toddler, but in adult voices 😮 😂❤
Bird zoomies, awesome!
Hes so pretty
Doot doot!
this is my comfort channel at this point
😂❤💞💕 Sweet, crazy, happy kid😘 He dematerialized there for a moment, when you'd spooked him
I am so happy that I'm at the point I can pretty much understand Apollo without subtitles!
Loved this video! Big time talkin' n chatting!
"This is a rag"
"A rag or a rat?"
"ROIIIGHT"
3:56 when he whistles for the 3rd time like "uh hello? Don't get distracted when there's nuts on the line!"
Happy tail waggles to boot!! When I get those it's like yes! I'm doing something right! They don't give tail waggles freely, at least mine don't.
I'm waiting for Funky Town now.
0:03 omg ed Edd n eddy that’s so cute 😊
Wow...did Apollo find the red cordial 'stasch'! 😂

12:38 I was just waiting for the "pour water" 😆
At about 8:51, did he say "pine nut"? Maybe I'm just imagining it.
Touch your butt! Potty humor😂
Did he just waste the Ed Edd and eddy there song? A bird of culture I see
He really is an amazing speaker! Better than humans in some regards.
"That's my finger" - "Brag!" - Apollo not being impressed.
boss is working Apollo: (don't chew)! 🤣
❤😊❤❤❤❤😅Apollo making the blowing bubbles sound. Apollo shaking his red tail feathers
I knew that was the Ed, Edd & Eddy theme I hear him whistle a few vids ago!!!
3:35 The moment where Apollo went into earn his pay time, he wants that pecan!
Seems like after-shower talking sprees are a thing, in Greys.
beautiful❤
1:42 phenomenal
Looping this.
I think he might want to establish "Ooh I got" or "I got the" as a verb he can use for pouncing at things like the perch and balls.
soggy little man
No chewin 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he is so funny
Waiting for the typical Grey sarcastic humor to kick in, I'm pretty sure it will!
Jumpscare at 10:35 lol
I wish I had this bird in my house.
Maybe you can get a stick, teach him the word "stick" and use that to get him to work up to saying "plastic" later.
is that a possibility to teach Apollo to say "wood" from his "woo..." ?
Does he like music?
Blabber bird today! Wow
🎶 Ed Edd and Eddie 🎶
ngl here he sometimes sounds like an ai generating noises that are generating sounds that are supposed to sound like human speech but not actually lol
5:10 Is that a drill?
Wow I think you’re right!
Why does he puff up so often? I thought that was mostly a defense mechanism they do when scared. He doesn't seem to be distressed in any way, but is still puffed up quite often.

Does he feel your emotions? Like does your emotions or how you are feeling have any effect on Apollo.
Has apollo hurt his beak?
12:52 was that "throw pistach" lmao?
it sounds more like "wanna pistach" to me
I wonder if Apollo understands the concept of "sorry"
Will you ever free flight Apollo?
His recall isn't very good at the moment. He'd sit in a tree and just look at Dalton calling him to fly down.
Mr and Mrs Apollo ❤️ awwe be cutest 💖
Lol, I have a bird just like that…
