I got mine last Friday. I had 4 SH300s before so I knew what to expect, and the SH350 is very similar. It's slightly bigger and feels it, the seat is higher, it's slightly less agile but better at higher speeds, the centre of gravity is higher. Keyless ignition is super convenient (in low-crime areas at least). Under seat fits a full face helmet, it didn't before. Mine doesn't wobble on the front, in fact it's more stable / slower steering than older SH300s. I don't like the Forza shape, the Scoopy shape is better for me. The floorboard is the best place for groceries, closest to center of bike, no heat from engine, not bounced around on the end of a lever like topbox - topbox will break eggs, crack open yoghurt, etc, while under seat will cook things :)
Again, three years late for the ride, (my life story)?! Absolutely enjoy your riding & handling comments, they are invaluable to the prospective buyer enthusiast! Best, Rola (Oregon / USA)
The sh350i is the evolution of the excellent sh300i - the flat floor enables easy mounting of the scooter and can easily accommodate a bag of cement - an excellent all round machine - thanks for the review
Had one for 2 weeks now, definitely no front wheel wobble but needs a windscreen for higher speeds, definitely better acceleration than forza 350 due to less weight about 20kg ...super smooth throttle great power delivery, 78mpg on first tank of fuel and I'm guessing will only improve. Great handling.
So glad that Charlie has verified that there is no front wheel wobble as I am considering purchasing an sh350i soon - the dealer in Edinburgh told me today that no more of them are due in the U.K. until next year so demand must be high - that suits me as I am currently recuperating from a serious injury - thanks for the review Benalrida
Thanks. Not sure I would want to drop from 140MPG (UK, not US) / 50KPL for the extra power over the PCX150 I use for a daily 110 kilos round trip, given that here in Japan the fastest roads are 100KPH for some parts and 80 KPH for most parts. Though I do have bigger bikes and can see how much smoother they are with better power and bigger wheels/suspension and seats.
I have both the Honda SH300i and the Honda Forza 350 (plus a Tiger 800 and Versys 650). Both serve a different purpose. The Forza is a good tourer with its 45 litre top box, whereas the SH is a great commuter/runaround bike. As you say, performance is plenty good enough for what it is, although probably not quite as good as the SH350i. My SH300 is in gloss metallic red and looks superb...
i just test drive this sh350i and not for argue but in my experience there was no (front) wheel wobble at all. Im sure it was something else that make it wobble, probably the tyre pressure was to low or to high. You mentioned it was heavy in the front, this i felt too in a way but you get use to it very fast, then you drive it like a bicycle. About the storage space between this one and the forza, yes the forza have bigger space under the buddy seat but the Sh have a flat floor. When you go shopping or pick up a package at the post office, you can put it very easy between your legg, this is not possible with the forza. This is why i would say the sh is much better for everyday use for all the things you do in dayly life and the forza is more for touring arround in your free days.
@@deanr125 The SH300 might be more convenient in some areas but for a bit taller people or people looking for a bit sportier look I think the Forza or Xmax offer more.
@@hermanstokbrood I am tall (185cm) and the SH350 is better than the Forza as the knees have lots more room. I bought one over the Forza and the ADV 350. No wheel wobble and the suspension is fine for my large frame. I do use an Airhawk type of seat cushion for comfort.
I've had my SH350 for almost a year and have no wobbling or instability issues - even with a topbox fitted. I suspect your front tyre pressure was too low. It's a great scooter and one point that is often overlooked is the ability to carry a bag or two on the flat floor by using the bag hook provided. I've done a couple of 200+ mile rides with no problems and I'm 185cm and 107kg.
It's a great review; very informative. Sorry about your hay fever! The only thing I thought could be excluded from the video was the two minutes of music and rostrum camera stuff; just my opinion of course.
I've had a SH300 for five years, and I can assure it is pretty stable if you take out the top case, as I have. With the top case placed, you feel some instability in highway.
Hey Benalrida, great review. How would you compare stability of sh350 vs forza350 on a highway? I am looking for a scooter good both for city (50%) but also longer distance trips - would be forza350 better option?
Hello, and thanks for watching. I would choose the Forza 350. It seems more practical and better suited for smaller trips as well. As I might have mentioned I found the front of the SH350 heavy and not in a good way. One thing which would be a negative in the city I guess.
Yes, I had a 2014 SH300i and it was stable at high speeds (up to 150 on the speedo). Would check the tire pressure and the pre-load of the springs. They should be set to hard, if they are set too soft the bike can tend to wobble.
Hello George, thanks very much! Oh, I don't know, to be honest I am not much of a fan of these scooters where you sit on like a toilet. I have decided for myself and just recently bought a Yamaha XMAX300 for me.
@@BenalRida What made you decide to go for the Yamaha, and not the Honda Forza 350? I recently sold my 2014 Honda CB500F after riding it for 7 years. I did like the motorcycle, but it just wasn't convenient at all because there was no storage space, so I ended up using my car most of the time. I've been looking at the Forza 300 and 350 because a scooter like this would be perfect. Good acceleration, decent top speed, storage space, low on fuel consumption and easy to handle in the city.
@@o0L4nc3r0o Well, the decision was primarily influenced by the Honda dealer not being able to make me an offer. I am still waiting .. 3 months later :) My preference was a bit leaning towards the Honda Forza but since my Yamaha dealer had a special offer with a used XMAX 300 with 124 km on the clock and 600 EUR cheaper I decided quickly and I took the offer. I think the Honda Forza 350 is a bit more maneuveable at lower speeds and the seat is a tad lower too. I would have liked that better. All the other stuff was basically the same for me. Well, okay, also the electronically adjustable windscreen is a plus, too.
@@BenalRida What about the handling of the Xmax compared to the Forza. Some people say the Xmax feels a lot sportier. Do you agree or is it just nitpicking between those two great scooters?
Hello, I just asked my Honda dealer. The battery on the SH Mode is underneath the foot pedestal. You need to unscrew the screws with the tools in the tool kit and get access to the battery. It is a fairly small battery.
I wonder if it's possible to get the air temperature sensor from SH350i and mount it to SH125i, as the cluster is the same. And at least it has this small stotage below the steering wheel, not like on 125i

I only have one question: how does a flat floor design such as on a Scoopy effect braking? I would imagine that if you brake hard you would go into the handlebars (as opposed to the Forza type body where your legs are forward to support you). Thanks!

People like me who find it hard getting the leg over these days - the flat floor makes mounting so much easier - the large 16 inch wheels give it a motorcycle style ride - much better than the smaller wheeled forza
Much more comfortable and motorcycle like to ride than a Forza 350/350 which frankly I found very cramped. It also handles better at speed due to the 16" wheels and is much easier to get onto if you have back of flexibility issues since it is a step through. The Forza looks great but as an ex SH300i rider I wasn't convinced. Eventually bought a Forza 750.
I have just mounted windscreen on my SH125i (previously done over 1000km without it) and I can only confirm that. The ride feels much more confident at higher speeds on the motorway.
