Good seeing you again Loz, you really have been splashing the cash 😳. Hope your vertigo is improving, I had it a couple of years ago and was doing the same exercises, a bit weird but they worked 👍. Looking forward to pt2. Cheers, Bill.
Thank you kindly, it seems dead calm is instantly ruined the moment I turn the camera on... and then I'm so "into it" I'm oblivious until it hits UA-cam..😒
Good to see you back Loz, glad you're feeling better, look forward to see you using that great collection of tools, I can see some beautiful little dovetail boxes on the horizon !
Loz ! Looking well mate.. great to see you, oooh very nice haul 🤩.. like the idea using fence posts instead of sleepers.. I may pinch that idea 😉 all the best ! Cheers Rob
Thanks Rob, the fence post hack WAS a good idea last year,.. I've just bought another batch from Wickes and the price brought tears to my eyes! (still cheaper then sleepers /m tho....
Thanks Dean, the idea was to create a reduced toolbox of really nice hand tools in a posh tool chest to eventually "pass on".... now my trouble is I'm keeping the junk tools too. because I don't want to soil "my precious's" >sigh
Nice to see you back Loz. Glad you feel better. I had vertigo a couple of years ago and it's horrible. It's nice to treat yourself to some new tools. 👍👍
Sorry to hear that ( the vertigo really is debilitating) glad to know it worked for you.... mine is nearly sorted: its a pain to keep up with the exercises to' I just need to soldier on......yup I'm nearly "all tooled up now", tho I won't say "never" on purchases in case Iose my Bloke card rights!
The wall-hung tool chest homes a collection of tools you want accessible. That leaves extra goodies to store in a toolbox, trunk, and boxes. Never ending sorting and deciding what to move where.
@@GrumpaLoz so little time, how right you are. I don’t know where the last 25 years have gone. Anyway been looking on Temu for some stone that look reasonable, I may treat myself when I get paid this month.
Thanks Bud, yes decking can get pretty slippery (even without trees) Probably going to put two separate decks down, the first is going to be composite (kit steady purchased) and no.1 son has experience dong decking so is going to help me.. its going next to the patio doors - well away from the trees!
Good to see you again Roz, enjoyed watching you reveal part of your hand tool inventory. Totally agree with the "pretty tools, pretty boxes" mantra! I too have been 'collecting' tools over a few years, the danger is forgetting what you've bought and ending up with duplicates . . . ouch! Looking forward to Part 2. Take care
Thanks Mike... I'm trying keeping my purchases under control ( I can stop at anytime... honest! 😜) planning to have just one of most things.....he hehe.
Glad to see your OK and back posting, IIRC Rob C uses a 5 1/2 , I love old hand planes ( doing them up is rewarding ) I have a few, I do have power tools but love my hand planes, can a man have too many ? I think not.
Many Thanks Elioth. yup Rob C does recommend the extra half sizes for heft, and the 51/2 for "if you only have one"... most you tubers seem to sport a wall hung plane till with "one of each" hanging unused in a powered woodshed! seems a bit like hoarding, though I can understand how hand planes can breed in the workshopif you don't keep an eye on them!?
Thats the one! I'd still recommend them. mine has been restocked with the measuring tools and a (growing) pocket knife collection (..dont get me started! 🤣)

I wonder if you mean a machinists toolbox, I enjoyed your previous video on the one you bought. I still haven’t bought one myself yet!
