Nice! You’re doing the same thing? I just do small decorative projects with them (we have a bunch in our flower beds, but I’m a renter so I can’t seal them).
this is the problem i have with 79% of videos. the title is "how to make your landscape rocks shine." well, okay, sounds like what i'm looking for except for one thing: you show us dull rocks. you show us somewhat shinier rocks. you show us still shinier rocks. ok. shinier rocks. cool. but what you ignore/skip over/fail to mention is the "how." it's right there in title. "How"
Thanks for showing this video! I’m trying to find something that will allow the immense amount of leaves and pine needles that fall on my garden rocks every day! They get stuck in between and ruin the look of the gardens. I’m hoping with this double seal it will allow the leaves to sit on top and allow me to use the blower on the leaves and make my life a tad easier!
That’s a great idea! I just started doing this method with river rocks in a succulent pocket garden (2-3 layers of sealer). But now that you gave me this idea, I may opt to seal the smaller white rocks I have in the flower bed too! The falling leaves and debris drive me crazy and take forever to manually pick out
Yeah they look soo dull without the seal. We have a bunch of river rock in our flower beds (not by choice). I pick them out and use for decor. I like to put nice rocks in plants. But I want them to shine like wet. These rocks in the beds out here are soo colorful when it’s raining or when I spray them down. So I’m wondering what I could use for small projects?
Hey Matthew, have you seen that these rocks remained shiny over time? I've used a product in the past that seemed shiny at first, and then it actually faded to a sort of cloudy coat that actually dulled the overall look of the rocks. Does this product remain clear? Also how did you apply it, with a sprayer?
So, this video is NOT a "how to" but simply a results picture video. Doesn't talk about what product is used, how it was applied or anything you would get in a "how to" video.
@@matthewdudley8818 - Yes, I caught that few seconds up front upon re-watch....might be better if you actually mention what you used IN YOUR VIDEO (some other options) and showed how you applied it etc. You know, the way "How to" videos do (at least the good ones).....not just an ad upfront (that most people ignore because they think it's just some ad, nothing to do with the video) and results pictures. FYI - at this point my comment was mid-way through the time it's been out there and yet it has the most likes??? Tells YOU those watching agree. Just to keep in mind if you're going to do future videos.
I'm writing this to try n get a machine made that picks up and cleans landscaping rocks that have filled in with sand and dirt. Currently there are no machines that so that job. Cleaning the rocks from landscaping in front of most businesses. No one has a machine like that. Why, I don't know why. It's a problem for all landscaping companies. Removing and replacing the rocks that have filled in with dirt. Now and have been allowing the growing grass and weeds that grow out of the dirt. So much it fills in between every rock so much that now they look like dirt. No more does it look like rocks for landscaping. Look like dirt only. Filled in completely to look like ground to help weeds to grow. I hope I've explained my self well enough so inventers know what I'm talking about. To me it's easy to see the problem that NO-ONE has a machine like that. Please make one for the landscaping industry.
I just saw a video where people made a DIY rock tumbler out of an old smaller sized cement mixer! They remove something they called paddles from the inside (needed to mix the cement but don't want for rocks) then said be sure to turn it on first and then throw a bucket of rocks in, because turning it on with the Rock's already inside can burn the motor out quickly. I bet something like that could really clean up landscaping stones, too!
I 2nd the need for such a machine! Currently, there’s nothing in existence that offers such a solution… At least nothing that I’ve been able to locate.
Hi there 👋 We're not a business (yet!), but have our thinking caps on to at least reduce the dirt problem. If we come up with an invention, we'll definitely advertise it 😃 Based in New Zealand, we have the same pain-in-the-butt landscape issue here, so we recently decided to work on fixing it 🤞👍🙏🏻
Good point. There are weed preventatives out there and also you can spray for weeds when they just pop up. But yeah, if you wait too long it may mess up the shine with the dirt that will inevitably come up with it
Waste of time folks! Maybe it looks shiny if you’re right there but it doesn’t look shiny in this video at all, especially if it’s got a double coating. You could shine a light on the whole lot and do it again Dudley Dude…what about that? I ‘d love to see the real thing. Also you didn’t answer the question in the last comment and that was a year back. I’d love to know the answer to that too. Why enable comments if you don’t address them? In fact there aren’t any answers to any of the questions I see on this page. If you want to see a name for a product that’s all you get. Unfortunately a truly poor attempt.
Wow this didn’t even work my rocks are still dull if ur going to make videos on how to make landscape rocks shine then show the right directions plz don’t make us waste our time on watching theses fake videos
This is the only image or video on the internet showing what I’m about to do. Thank dude.

@@bexyrexy There is a product called mulch glue that may work for you.

What will the rocks look like after 1 year or so?
It Looks Luxurious! 💖💖💖
Just had a river rock hardscape installed around my pool. How did you apply? Can you use a pump sprayer?
Yes! Just use a regular pump sprayer- do not delute.
Sorry, do u mean "dilute"?@@matthewdudley8818
What type of rock is that in the video?
Its a smaller Noyo Rock.
What do you do when you gotta pull weeds and can't move the rocks lol

Where is the “how” from the title?
What is the product?
How does this comment have 3 likes? The product was shown in the first 7 seconds.
I want to do this to my 1-1/2” granite stone landscaping
Probably have to seal it every season for us Canandians after winter 🙄😄😄
Great idea
What did you apply to it?
wet look sealer
Best bet is to pour a ton of epoxy on them
This literally provides no information...not product info, no process, etc. Meh.

Sorry I don't see much of a difference! waist of time and money
Since he bothered to do a video, I bet you certainly see a difference in person.
Put your glasses on lol. There's obviously a big difference 🤣
Theres a big difference. The sealed rocks look much nicer
