Any chance on buying a tutorial or course for this Lars? Would you be my mentor, this is awesome. Ill even be happy if you could point me to some other tutorials or info for learning this kind of rigging. Anyway thank you for sharing all of it

A tutorial would be mega-great How have you rigged the Pivot-Head of the robot arm, where the logo is on? It is turning automatically with the head, in IK mode, right? I tried this with a LookAt Constraint, struggling with jumping in its direction when reaching a bipolar point (upnode). Is it standard FK linked? Are you using a IK Solver? Thanks.

Very impressive. Have you considered an explanation video of some of the more complicated parts?

Maybe I'll do a tutorial on something similar

I will pay attention to your website every day and look forward to your reply. The binding of the six-axis manipulator is very important to me. Thank you very much and I am looking forward to your reply

you will do a lesson when the whole UA-cam is already packed with lessons on rigging))

This looks great! Im trying to do something similar, more beginner friendly tho, may i ask, how would you rig the arm to have it follow a path as if it was a print head, and have the base slide on the rail while moving through printing different objects in an assembly line

You could make a long spline for the head path, put a helper on path constraint and do a position constraint with controlled weight on the robot head to the path helper. Mabe I'll do a tutorial on something like that

Thanks @@larsem8 , yes I’ve been trying with a dummy on a path constraint and parented to the print head, but i haven’t been able to make the root (robot arm base) of the hierarchy move sideways on a rail when the print head moves in the same direction, instead the root just rotates. Will keep trying,I bet it must be something really dumb that I’m missing.

How can I get in touch with you? We use wechat in China, I don't know whether your country uses wechat or not.

@@OMG3Dmax its for marketing material for an engineering company who makes the robot system so its intellectual property. You would have to buy the robot itself and not the 3d model
