    Thank you, as you pointed out, DDCC, is all anybody cares about now. A diagram of your wiring would probably help us , but the video is very well done and very helpful. Thank you.

    It's a pity you didn't keep the turntable, but you don't have room for it now. DCC isn't for everyone, and it certainly isn't for me. I'm sticking to analogue, as I'm comfortable with it.

    We bought this exact turntable and set it up exactly how you said but the power doesn’t switch to the the turntable when the lever is moved… any ideas??

      Make sure that your track is connected to the power feed. If you look under the turntable, you'll see two wires linking to one of the rails. It should be the one next to the little hut thing. So make sure that your track links to the line where the two wires go to. I hope this makes sense

    It sounds very noisy.

      That's why I've removed the motor and intend to hand power it

    I have a Walthers 90 ft turntable kit I'm trying to wire up and it's not easy! I tried using split slip rings but it was too fiddly. My next idea is to let the turntable track take its power (and polarity) from the track that lines up with it.

      My turntable didn't come with any either. I just had to figure it out by myself. Your best bet is UA-cam

    Hi . Please can you help. I've watched your video but have a slightly complex track plan. Think I solved it but the Turntable just stopped

    • @ThunderbirdX
      @ThunderbirdX  Рік тому

      I don't think I can help there. I don't use my turntable on my layout. Could be the switch assuming that's how you use it. If it's on dcc then I really can't help. Also try looking for loose wires

      Mine used to be on analogue. I had a switch to switch the power from track to turntable. When you try to use it, does it make a loud whirring sound before changing tracks?
