Man I never get tired of that Chevy ll body style. At 6:55ish I just new the Chevy ll was on the rollback, nice save. Just blows my mind that those boys pull the tires at half track and/or the top end.
Anyone know what engine is in Frank's Nova? Magneto is on the right side so its gotta be Keith Black based or maybe a BAE/ Brad Anderson. Certainly sounds more like a Keith than a Brad 5. As far a I know, only Arias/Fontana had left side mounted mags, that's what we used to run in our Nova, 528ci Arias with a Fontana rhino block. Not many guys running those anymore, BAE is the way to go if you can afford it!
That Nova is sick but man is that thing inconsistent. I can only imagine trying to contain 4,000 HP on 10.5’s. And before anyone asks, no I certainty can’t do any better. Lol
well I only watched the first 3 cars. All fast cars but not even close to wheel standing. I might be way off but i think wheel standing is pretty much rear bumper almost touching the ground or touching the ground. Their chassis is set up well and they leave great but a inch or two with the front tire off the ground is not a wheel stand
The last run is insane! Holy sh...
All amazing cars! But that last pass were he was lifting the front end all the way down the strip was sweet
I remembered this video and I had to find it again! I was about to comment the same thing I said 3 years ago!
Hey I found my way back lol
@@Cr125stin lol
Great video, that Mad Nova probably has the biggest engine I've ever seen, and keeping the front wheels up all the way down the track, Crazy.
I could almost smell the tyre smoke . . .
Damn fine video right there, that Camaro is a Beast!!!
You guys are doing it well over there,,cheers from Texas.
I know this is old footage but watching it again. Man Franks Nova is an animal. Love that thing!
When your car is carrying the front wheels at 1000 feet, your making unbelievable power. Must be making 3000 or more horse power...
they are outlaw 10.5's, you can't be competitive until you are making around 3,000hp. With that Nova it is probably closer to 4,000hp though.
How can they keep them going straight with the front in the air? Amazing!
Excellent vid great job fast performance....

holy shit that nova breaking the 1/4 Beams with the rear wheels!! hence the higher trap speed. BONKERS
That track is hooking well and the girl with the black nova has a nice chassis too
Love the vids and the cars
God damn 3/4 down the track pulling the wheel's! Insane!
Holly fuck that chevy nova fly's put a set of wings on it ..............
Nothing screams tough as louder than that Nova. I've seen it at AIR and in the urban dictionary under the heading "tough as fk"

Is this 1/8 or 1/4 mile?!

These cars would run 3s in the 1/8
ive been there on this day
this is just pure power wheelie porn!!!!awesome stuff...must be exciting feeling for the driver!??
233 mph that's faster than jackson storm
I know
Won't last long on two wheels going that fast, the Wall will win.
I. like. that. race. car
That SN95 is on point !

+tyler bonser Ahhhmm the things on the rear of the cars are called wheelie bars. They are designed to stop wheelies. Look it up!!........ Really!
No shit. So a car with wheelie bars will not do a wheelie. The video wasnt titled, cars that could do a wheelie but arent.
At 5:34. Wheels clearly off the pavement. It's a drag race. Not a wheel standing competition.
rolyatknarfable The title of the video is wheel standing!
+tyler bonser You're right. I started watching and forgot what I came here for. UA-cam reveals my short attention span once again.
OK
He really going 220 mph??
Put some more dingoes in your trunk, may then you guys can get the front wheels off the ground
run. a. one. 15
nova
I thought the thumbnail was a Lambo when I clicked on it really fast.... Should have known better
Biggest balls winner goes to the nova on the last past, and the ne before that with a wheelie in both lanes on the same pass
+mitch williamson Just so happens to Run a HEMI
