  • It's time for old school adventure! In this series, we're using the acclaimed Mythic GM Emulator 2e to run a completely solo Original D&D campaign using Chainmail for combat!
    Join me in the random generation and exploration of a high fantasy hexcrawl through Westmoor, a highland frontier where roughneck settlements work hard to hew resources from an unforgiving wilderness!
    In the second session we continue to fill our sandbox with sand, diving into setting lore before using the Sandbox Generator to randomly generate a starting village for our player character. Links to resources below!

    57:50 A brewery comes to town specifically to use hot spring water to brew beer. Drink Skunk Beer 🍺 It's got sulfur!

    I somehow totally missed the Fate Check when looking at MGME -- it seems nice. I'm excited to see more of it. I've been using a different oracle because of the lack of speed of MGME (one that still has chaos and random events), but it seems like once you internalize the modifiers and results, the fate check would be pretty fast.
