Hey DS Lima, you made my BCT. Keep strong man. You're gonna do great things. 💪
Thanks to you, your brothers and sisters for everything yall done and sacrificed for us and most important to y'all's families for their sacrifice as well. Coming from a Navy family I salute you sir
After my father got off the trail, we took some time to let him disengage from that high stress, high energy mentality he got from being a drill. As a kid during the three years he was a Drill at Jackson, we all very rarely got to see him, or if we did it was only for a short time. After close to four years he got off the trail, and st that time they didn't have a dehatting ceremony, we all had to readjust after we got orders. He also was a Combat Engineer like you. He got to return to the motor pools and life as an engineer, and I like to think he was happier for it, after some time. Sgt, now is the time for you to think about trying to get some orders to some place nice as a thank you to you and the family. I can't wait for the next chapter and neither should you.

Congratulations and I hope your next duty is as rewarding.
This has been an amazing journey to follow! I hope we meet someday

Thank you! You prepared me for DS school. You answered all my questions. Pretty cool to take this journey with ya. keep staying focused and motivated! Much love and respect. I seriously appreciate ya homie.
Battle, good to see ya again! And ur welcome!!
You may miss being a Drill, but think about all the soldiers you trained whom someday maybe future Drills or some other form of leader. As well as all the new stuff you learned about yourself you may not have known before.
I forgot who most of the drills in my company were, but you never forget those in your platoon.
Your do America, and all services proud. As an former marine corporal I appreciate you training all these soft civilians to watch the back of all my younger brethren as they charge forward.
Btw, you have a beautiful family and you did them right by being an exceptional individual. Much respect, brother 💪
“You’re gonna be here being annoying” I felt that 😂😂
Lololzzz! That’s my primary job description!!

Good push @goodfella713 be sure you turn off that DS switch when u leave TRADOC. I left mine on for a lil bit when I got back on the line and it wasn’t good. Took me a minute to recover from that!! But congrats to u!! Keep it movin!!

Amazing!! You enjoy and congrats to ur son!!
More time with your family, good. Much less paperwork, almost as good. Thanks to you, I got a glimpse of basic training from the angle of control and heavy responsibility. You have proven yourself most worthy, Andrew. A number of young men have you to thank, for you have shown intellect, common sense, patience, maturity, motivation, and leadership. I have no doubt that you will make your new assignment a success, and you will always be Drill to me. SFAM ALL THE WAY!!
Congratulations Joe!
Is that u Coop? And thank u!
Drill sergeant lynch it's sad you're retiring from the army but with all due respect I would have been proud to have you as my drill instructor in basic good luck to you sir! Sulute!
Not retiring yet!! I just completed my time as a Drill Sergeant.
@@ThirdsLynch well damn sir that's great to hear
Proud of you fam!!!! You made it alllllllll the way through. "I can do alot more than I think I can do!" Real!!!!!!!!
Thank you. I hope you keep the videos coming tho. Altho I’m a civilian I found motivation and inspiration in your videos.
That’s freakin awesome! Thanks for ur support and I’m grateful to be able to motivate you!!
Congrats on a successful tour on the Drill Trail.
I do have a question about the Army Blues. After you’ve debated, what type of headgear is authorized with that uniform for soldiers in regular Army units who aren’t tabbed (Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces, etc.)?
What do u mean? Are u askin because u haven’t heard or any other headgear than the beret? I think it just depends on the situation. Most of the time you’ll only see the beret. But the service cap is authorized also.
Congratulations! Stay focused and motivated.
Nice video I enjoyed watching your watching u Aaron a drill thank u 4 sharing! !!! Army family fort Jackson 💚
I come off the trail in a few months. I know exactly how you feeling bro.
I hope ur time has been as rewarding to you as it’s been to me!!

I know this feeling. I remember my last day. last cycle with Alpha Company 1st BN 46th Regt Fort Knox 1993 to 1995.
It is bitter sweet isn’t it!?
@@ThirdsLynch definitely. my favorite time is when the families see the transformation. and when they graduate. they are standing tall in their Class A's with those bolo badges with the proud look on my face and the proud look on their faces that they made it and will move to do great things in the army.
cycle break then pick up another cycle. LOL
Now Thirds...You've got to change those DS hat emoji's to bald heads! lol!
But seriously - I live in a family with a history of military service. I'm proud of my cousin who served throughout the past decades in the middle east and who left the Army as a Sergeant First Class. I appreciate the dedication you've had towards training the next generation.
With this chapter of your career ending have you thought of anything else you wanna do in the army or are you going back to your old unit as engineer
I may!
