This is superb. The losses Dark Future Rudeus suffers are absolutely heartrending to witness, and the fight he brings against Orsted is as hopeless as it is in the book. Months of preparation, his highest-grade spells, and he is cut down in seconds. Add to that Sawano. How many stories have it so that the main character puts EVERYTHING he has into a fight and he is utterly defeated? No deus ex machina, no final allies, no final speech, no heartfelt pleas, no new skills brought from the depths of his spirit, nor any second wind could save him from being slain by his foe except him deciding to recruit the hero instead. That alone makes this arc special.
That is also why I absolute love this novel, especially this arc. The moments where he starts remembering his dad’s words and flashback to his family, wow… Those tards that like OP MC isekai can keep complaining that he’s not the strongest in his verse… this is what makes MT special, not the perviness… hopefully when this gets adapted it will open people’s eyes

Absolutely flawless. The voiceover with Paul from Rudy's 5th birthday had me tearing up hard, hope someone from Bind sees this or that they add it in themselves whenever they get to that point. I also LOVE the artist's overlaying Orsted with that giant Dragon, shit looks so intimidating. Been saying this since I started reading the Web Novels, once the anime gets to TP 4, the anime community is gonna go absolutely nuts.
Orsted is stupid op lol .He doesnt have any mana reserves yet is still able to flatten any Mushoku char with sheer physicals and technique. For fucks sake he dodged a Lightspeed attacks.
If handled properly with the oldeus part, "showing" the alternate future first as if that is the way the story flows only to crescendo on the moment he returns to the past and have rudi read the journal and then confront hitogami, if they take some creative license to portray it that way instead of just animating the events of the journal... the amount of emotional damage ESPECIALLY for the anime onlys...

I love how the fact that it isn't a full animation and more a separated frames slideshow sorta animation also serves the effect of conveying Orsted's speed (2:41). It's like you're looking at him and he's all the way over there but before you can even blink he's already on you. edit: the absolute bodying he deals to rudy afterwards also helps lmao
Once this moment is animated it will not only secure Mushoku Tensei as a masterpiece, but it will secure it as one of the greatest series ever created. I truly believe this, anime only people have so much amazing story left to experience and I can't wait to see how they react.
This is so true, I have a couple of anime only friends for MT and i can't wait to see how they react once the story progresses in the future, since they already enjoys the early part a whole ton.
This was absolutely amazing, man. Turning Point 4 is absolutely heartwrenching, it's my favorite plot twist in all of fiction. And you managed to visualize it wonderfully. I was surprised when I saw that the video was 4 minutes, because it didn't feel like 4 minutes at all. I genuinely cannot wait for the anime to eventually adapt volume 14 and 15 of Mushoku Tensei. If S2 is when people start to view MT as a masterpiece, then S3 will be when MT is cemented as one. Once again, fantastic job, Junu. This video was truly beautiful.
@@Ha5hi_ no doubt about that,v13 SOL which includes the sisters' 15 bday,marriage of Cliff and Lise.Nanahoshi's discease arc,turning point 4,The Diary,Orsted vs Rudeus,Linia and Purusena leave (this imo is underrated,all of the special student magic university graduations hit hard) and then the Asura Arc would be where it ends if it goes at the same pace. Just so much to look forward to.
Turning point 4 to me is just, amazing. The despair, the darkness and horrible path it took him. The apperence of him that nigth, the secrets and what was just couple of minutes its show the enormous potential hi has. That nigth, Turning point 4, it is the chapter i love the most of mushoku. I read ir twice and i think i gonna rad it again. This is a figth i wanna watch on the anime. Ans i already wanna be part of Orsted Incorporated.

This is nothing short of amazing. As many others I teared up, felt the despair of Rudeus struggle and jumped off my seat when Eris showed up. The visuals, the music, Orsted's, Eris' and especially Paul's voice made it even better. Thank you so much for this, it is perfect!
@@hlb20 do you mean what series is inspired by? That would be Mushoku Tensei, or Jobless Reincarnation. It's the story of Rudeus Greyrat, a very flawed human being given a second chance in a world of magic and swords. I recommend it very much despite how common such stories had become. Don't get me wrong, Rudeus is a really despicable guy, the whole point is that his is a redemption story so earlier on his actions and thoughts are not very politically correct. If you mean who's the artist I believe it's the one who published the video.

I can't explain in words the emotions I felt from this video this shit made me cry and laugh at the same time like WTF thank you soooo much for making this.
This is enough to realize the futility of their problems. We will never understand the pain and despair that Rudeus had to experience at a time when, unable to cope with the loss, he later loses all those he cherished so much. It just makes me cry.
Thank you for your time and care creating this. This was absolutely wonderful to watch, and I believe you did the original series justice in this adaptation. Your talent is unmatched.

Junu did AMAZING !!! Perfect capture of the event from VOL 14-15 to see it and to know the struggle rudy went through really hurt me and made me understand so much but... Junu don't know if this was planned but throwing in Pauls's voice where he talks about family to Rudy " If you have a family one day you have to be ready to defend them " That... That really got me to cry to hear Paul's voice in what could have been his final moments Rudy knew the extent of those words. Then our QUEEN ERIS!!! comes rushing in to aid her KING, the man she declared her love for to be there when he needs someone the most MAN WHAT A SHOT !!! Now the effects of the light and how it beamed down on her as she turns to give that smile after so long were really sweet to me. Like a Goddess appearing on the battlefield, rudy thought there was a legit goddess standing in front of him to save his life. After so long Eris finally made it to be with rudy when it counts. Everything had led to this moment. The WILD BLADE finds a sheathe now for Hearth and home. Junu THANK YOU !!! this was worth the wait
I've loved turning p4,this is how I read it,you may not care but I just wanted to share. I had to go to a school event we had that we'd been working on for after the 2nd term, On that day I woke up,went to the bathroom and came back and saw the time only 7am, Hsd to go at 9,started reading Mushoku Tensei,I see Rudeus eating with Zenith and Norn,normal. He goes to the study room and studies the Hydra stone. Makes a diary which didn't really make me think something big was gonna happen and neither was there any chp name in the site so no clue of a tp. Rudeus wakes up,he drooled on the Diary,he goes to the stairs (maybe not exactly how in the LN but I read the wn) And he feels a presence,this is sick,dope and cool. Who is that presence? My favorite character when though he's a shit person, He describes Hao it felt to him,thinks it's nothing and goes,feels it YET AGAIN,sees,sees a man,in utter despair,and hopelessness, A legend(you probably disagree but Oldeus is for some reason an amazing character to me and I really sympathize with him) His actions really aren't justified though,a man whose story was a myth to many. Oldeus, I actually thought this was Orsted lmaoo. I thought of him to look similar to Orsted and Muzan (basically Ishida's art on tp4) or a creepy man,but it was something else. Orsted like design would be best imo. Then here it is,I wouldve loved a brother brother or friend relationship between the past and future self but like many other shows,it goes just as them talking and not thinking so much of the the future selves or past on. OK o the name reveal part is next level suspense. You scroll and see next level next level. What? The conversation,unexpected? Yeah,peak unexpected. Idk like when he said I got power too late in similar words ofc,I was confused, He reveals some deaths. The main feeling hit when he burnt Okdeus' corpse,I didn't want that for some reason,maybe put him with Paul? Idk why I wanted that. The Diary,I can't discuss that it's too sad to remember, I typed this real fast.
Yeah, and while granted that this is legendary, especially with it's black and white filter (it just works), if Bind does TP4 justice, it will be just so legendary. Mushoku Tensei will blow up after TP4. You just know it after seeing TP4.
Wow I just cannot find where to start talking about what a fucking masterpiece this was. All the scenes, precise and straightforward in fully capturing the atmosphere and emotional peaks that the novel conveys. Even the shock, whilst I already knew the content of it, was on point and made me actually gawk in absolute fascination. Hope you'll be making more of these amazing creations 아아 그저..... "만신"

It doesnt matter when or how long, TP4 and what comes after always plays with my emotions, it did almost 10 years ago in the WN, it kept doing on re-read, it did again on LN and is gonna do it over and over, its one of those moments that there arent enough words to describe, the diary chapters, they are so vivid and heartwrenching, its one of the few times a novel or book has gotten me close to just puke out of pure stress, its despair of the preparations and the feeling of rush and hype when you see the letter arrive, then the dread and just fear of teh fight to that scene of red, its such a masterpiece of a volume spoilers the sheer despair and desperation, of seeing Rudy pleading, doing everything, crawling and going as far as biting orsted feet just to protect the family and newfound happiness he's found, its just beautiful, if i can pinpoint a moment when i must said "i really love rudy character", is that one, that single moment ot me encapsules one of MT tenets, the effort to change

This is nothing short of amazing. As many others I teared up, felt the despair of Rudeus struggle and jumped off my seat when Eris showed up.
The visuals, the music, Orsted's, Eris' and especially Paul's voice made it even better.

@@hlb20 do you mean what series is inspired by? That would be Mushoku Tensei, or Jobless Reincarnation.
It's the story of Rudeus Greyrat, a very flawed human being given a second chance in a world of magic and swords. I recommend it very much despite how common such stories had become.
Don't get me wrong, Rudeus is a really despicable guy, the whole point is that his is a redemption story so earlier on his actions and thoughts are not very politically correct.

I can't explain in words the emotions I felt from this video this shit made me cry and laugh at the same time like WTF thank you soooo much for making this.
This is enough to realize the futility of their problems. We will never understand the pain and despair that Rudeus had to experience at a time when, unable to cope with the loss, he later loses all those he cherished so much. It just makes me cry.
Thank you for your time and care creating this. This was absolutely wonderful to watch, and I believe you did the original series justice in this adaptation. Your talent is unmatched.

Junu don't know if this was planned but throwing in Pauls's voice where he talks about family to Rudy " If you have a family one day you have to be ready to defend them "

That really got me to cry to hear Paul's voice in what could have been his final moments Rudy knew the extent of those words. Then our QUEEN ERIS!!! comes rushing in to aid her KING, the man she declared her love for to be there when he needs someone the most MAN WHAT A SHOT !!!
Now the effects of the light and how it beamed down on her as she turns to give that smile after so long were really sweet to me. Like a Goddess appearing on the battlefield, rudy thought there was a legit goddess standing in front of him to save his life. After so long Eris finally made it to be with rudy when it counts. Everything had led to this moment.
The WILD BLADE finds a sheathe now for Hearth and home.

I can't describe how much I love this. Simply breathtaking.
I've loved turning p4,this is how I read it,you may not care but I just wanted to share.
I had to go to a school event we had that we'd been working on for after the 2nd term,
On that day I woke up,went to the bathroom and came back and saw the time only 7am,
Hsd to go at 9,started reading Mushoku Tensei,I see Rudeus eating with Zenith and Norn,normal.
He goes to the study room and studies the Hydra stone. Makes a diary which didn't really make me think something big was gonna happen and neither was there any chp name in the site so no clue of a tp.
Rudeus wakes up,he drooled on the Diary,he goes to the stairs (maybe not exactly how in the LN but I read the wn)
And he feels a presence,this is sick,dope and cool. Who is that presence? My favorite character when though he's a shit person,
He describes Hao it felt to him,thinks it's nothing and goes,feels it YET AGAIN,sees,sees a man,in utter despair,and hopelessness,
A legend(you probably disagree but Oldeus is for some reason an amazing character to me and I really sympathize with him)
His actions really aren't justified though,a man whose story was a myth to many.
Oldeus, I actually thought this was Orsted lmaoo. I thought of him to look similar to Orsted and Muzan (basically Ishida's art on tp4) or a creepy man,but it was something else. Orsted like design would be best imo.
Then here it is,I wouldve loved a brother brother or friend relationship between the past and future self but like many other shows,it goes just as them talking and not thinking so much of the the future selves or past on.
OK o the name reveal part is next level suspense. You scroll and see next level next level.

Yeah, and while granted that this is legendary, especially with it's black and white filter (it just works), if Bind does TP4 justice, it will be just so legendary. Mushoku Tensei will blow up after TP4. You just know it after seeing TP4.

Wow I just cannot find where to start talking about what a fucking masterpiece this was. All the scenes, precise and straightforward in fully capturing the atmosphere and emotional peaks that the novel conveys. Even the shock, whilst I already knew the content of it, was on point and made me actually gawk in absolute fascination.

It doesnt matter when or how long, TP4 and what comes after always plays with my emotions, it did almost 10 years ago in the WN, it kept doing on re-read, it did again on LN and is gonna do it over and over, its one of those moments that there arent enough words to describe, the diary chapters, they are so vivid and heartwrenching, its one of the few times a novel or book has gotten me close to just puke out of pure stress, its despair of the preparations and the feeling of rush and hype when you see the letter arrive, then the dread and just fear of teh fight to that scene of red, its such a masterpiece of a volume

the sheer despair and desperation, of seeing Rudy pleading, doing everything, crawling and going as far as biting orsted feet just to protect the family and newfound happiness he's found, its just beautiful, if i can pinpoint a moment when i must said "i really love rudy character", is that one, that single moment ot me encapsules one of MT tenets, the effort to change
