And all the shit that has been coming out or was finally confirmed about how bad things apparently are behind the scenes at Nijisanji
A lot of things still arent 100% confirmed (and may never be), but if even 10% of it is true (and we have every reason to believe its way more then that), joining Nijisanji means selling your Soul to the Devil
Phase has had the least amount of graduations of the corpos iirc so it shouldn't be too surprising.

I'd say it already did. If what I've seen is true, Phase connect's numbers have had surge increases while nijiEN has lost many talents & some remaining ones have lost viewership.
The next quarter's numbers should be at least even, if not PC above nijiEN.
@@Archedgari can't cite my sources, but a few days ago someone on Reddit sharred CCV numbers between HoloEN and NijiEN. The Holo girls easily had several thousand each, whereas each Niji listed was far below a thousand, even under five hundred.
Any VTuber org can overtake NijiEN at this point.

Not long ago I saw a short where Idol’s Rin Penrose was talking about how the company knowing your information is normal and not doxxing and here’s Pippa the conspiracy theorist talking about how fair Phase’s contract is. Niji sure screwed over the industry.

Sakana and Phase Connect as a corpo is actually a very friendly environment despite the popular meme saying that they are a "Sad Girl Company". I remember when Sakana was asked in the Q&A livestream that their company will exercise more freedom for his talents unlike big corpos like Hololive or Nijisanji. There was also one question on what to do when the talents reached 100K sub milestone for the "UA-cam Playbutton". Sakana said that the company will not get the UA-cam Play Button as it is for the talents to begin with. That alone is enough that they are miles better than Nijisanji. Heck you can even argue that they are better than Hololive as a Vtuber Company.

yea, when the CEO isn't hiding in his yacht somewhere and also streams himself, and is a vtuber himself, it really shouldn't be a surprise that the contracts are explained to vtubers as a requirement.
yea they can basically lie to the vtuber but i get the feeling based on not only how many of the phase connect livers actually seem to be genuinely very happy, but how the fish himself is the CEO of phase connect and many of the livers are not overly censored to the point of being shitty, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the contracts are basically very fair and very equitable for both parties.
im more surprised the Phase Connect contracts doesn't read in a single line "we'll support you, just don't get banned or say racist or sexist shit."
Ya know, I kinda hope we develop a culture of everyone actually reading their contracts, not just in Vtubers space, but everywhere else.
Because right now, instead of having the mindset that we should know what we are signing up for, we have the mindset of, we shouldn't be held to our contracts, because we're not expected to have read it, and I understand why. Contracts like the Kurosanji cantracts exist, so yea, no one should be held to a contract like that, but of we develop a habit, as a whole, of knowing what we're signing up for, it be harder to draft such a shitty contract like that, and get away with it, as long as they did.
The first contract issue I was ever witness to was Projekt Melody and her model, the question was who owned the copy right etc. THe model she uses now is not the original one just for that reason. I have seen sooooo many issues where contracts were not used and not read by the VTubers or streamers that it's just not funny. ALWAYS have a contract and read it slowly and make sure you understand everything, which means have a lawyer look the contract over and compare it against existing state law.

Rule of thumb, still have legal advice/rep., management can go over and explain things for you to understand, but predatory companies will use that as a trap, explain it in vague but simple terms and ask if you understand. Then when you signed, they have in paper that they technically explained the contract and you agreed to all terms.
Bad companies excel in seeming friendly and cooperative at first, thats how they get people.
Yeah, when you don't understand specific lawyer lingo, it's still best to hire your own counsel to gow over it. While the ideal situation is the emplyer and employee/contractor are partners and not foes, there is a conflict of interests.
No giving the talents a machine translated contract with an hour to sign? No auto accepting amendments by simply streaming or tweeting? How outrageous!

I want to give you some tips for the current state of clipping.
1. Post consistently for the algorithm, aim for the western time zones.
2. For minimal editing, create you own format, like when you added parrot4chan clip, just put "clip/video source: channel/clipper name", use only a few words.
3. Clip the juicy and spicy topics like this one. This is doing numbers.
4. Avoid Niji clips for now.
I'm from America. I looked up what the word means and it's very much how I view my channel.
