I’m still researching, and this is not about Delete Me, but I did want to mention; I just got an email from a company pushing back. They stated that they are happy to delete any data they have of me but “If you haven’t heard of us, we probably haven’t heard of you”, proceeding to give their phone number, email address and physical address in case I had any queries. They also mention in the email that they will notify authorities that the random requests are dangerous, as they now have to retain my information they were sent for a set time for legal purposes (I used Incogni) I think it’s also important to note that my spam actually increased where the only change I made was sign up to the data broker deletion service (again, Incogni, not Delete Me - but it makes me weary).
I had to corrupt an account I couldn't delete last year. I'm so tired of all the data collection and why does the McDonald's app need access to my contacts? UNINSTALL
There are many places where you cannot delete their accounts. I just did my passwords .. some were PAINFUL. I tried to clean up the mess .. it was not easy.
Can you please make a video on how to use wired internet (via USB or Ethernet) for an Android or iPhone? It's a very complex subject and no one seems to care or know about this, thank you.🙏
When we use data broker site to find someone, do you think they use information giving by the person doing search and now their personal address and number is on their sites??
Thanks for your videos, I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and learning a lot thanks to you :) it's really clear and pleasant to listen to. I am curious about your opinion about Proton and their services (protonmail, vpn, drive, etc.) Keep up the great work !
Since apparently I need to explain it, I have a grandparent who is losing health and the best way to share photos with them is via Facebook. So yeah, let the shaming begin. Its worth it to me to have that connection with them. 🥲 I am hoping my audience can express empathy.
@@ShannonMorse sorry to hear that! Was joking, but definitely a lot of people rely on it to keep in touch. Pretty much every communication method has its drawbacks, anyway - what matters is your own positive interactions outweighs drawbacks.

They don’t delete your data they just don’t use it but still can sell it
what if deleteme has a data leak, then its like totally verified good data
Also have this concern. Even without a leak how safe is your data with them.

The SNUBS coupon code for DeleteMe does not work in Canada, unfortunately.
