This song has a build up from 1st verse all the way to end. That last verse always hits me hard especially when he mentions Latasha
"Little Latashas so grown tell the lady in the liqour store shes forgiven so come home" 2pac - Thugs Mansion
Great reaction!!! The little girl who pac was talking about is a true story, Latasha Harlins, however she didn't die from a stray bullet or a drive by, she was killed by a korean lady for a bottle of orange juice, this incident actually sparked the LA riots... read up on it as pac mentions her name in many songs. keep up the good work
Oh wow thank you I’ll definitely look it up👌🏻😢& thanks for the support🙏🏼🙏🏼
It definitely didn't "spark the LA riots." It contributed to the overall, general background of tensions as the appeals verdict upholding the light sentence of probation & community service came a week before the riots. Which by the way the way you said "for a bottle of orange juice" implies she was stealing the orange the juice, which even if she had been yeah it was not worth shooting someone over... but she wasn't even stealing it. The police said "There was no attempt at shoplifting. There was no robbery. There was no crime at all." & said security footage in the store showed her approaching the counter with money in her hand.
But, the main triggering point for what happened was definitely the verdict in the trial of the police involved in the beating of Rodney King. The riots began within literally a few hours of the verdict.
@@aaronhoy3410 he meant that was the last straw …
@@journeymariereacts my father had that Album I was little I have it now 😁
This was a album that was released after he died. The material was recorded during the 93,94 era.
This album was originally called "Troublesome". He scraped the album once he heard Tha Doggpound had his album due to someone leaking the "Troublesome" album.
Pac was so passionate in this song.. one of his best..
I was pleasantly surprised by you bringing up the school to prison pipeline (prison industrial complex).. most people are unaware..
Also, Pac had the alphabet agencies & the JDL & cointelpro on his neck and he knew they wanted him silenced for speaking righteousness/truth.. they knew he could inspire others to see behind the curtain..
Diddy, or whoever had him unalived, did them a favor.. people like to forget that part and act like they don't know why Pac spoke about death and paranoia so much because of them agencies..
That's why there's all this deception out here about 2pac and so many people downplaying his greatness because them agencies don't want people hearing his interviews and music..
Love your reactions..
Edit: they also were keeping tabs on him because of who his mama was (black panther affiliation)
Youngins plz research LATASHA HARLINS, she was shot in the head by Koreans in California becuz she was young and black thinking she was stealing out their store... This happened during the same time as the LA RODNEY KING RIOTS back in the eay 90s. This incident wasn't no black on black crime shit, TUPAC is the fkn GOAT period!!
Pac touches your soul most definitely the 🐐.
Another great song by Tupac off the better days album is Tupac my block
Last verse was deep. This was around the same time he wrote
Lord knows
I love your reactions. You're really listening and taking the time to disect Tupacs lyrics. At least you can talk to your peers about the realities of the Tupac you're coming to know. He spit truth straight from the heart! I applaud you young black woman for recognizing our brother and learning for yourself what he was about. 💓Keep Ya Head Up!
Thank you so much for the kind words I really appreciate it🙏🏼& thank you for watching & supporting😁I’ll definitely try and spread 2pacs message & just try to embody him in everyday life.
Mike Cooley ….was the guy that put the 💴 up for tu pac studio time , got him started . Was a real street cat
LaTasha Harlins was killed in the store by the Korean woman over nothing same time Rodney king was getting beat by the police which all cause those riots around that time 2pac always mentioned LaTasha in many raps
Natasha Harlin was shot by a Korean store worker thinking she was stealing a bottle of juice
Korean store owner killed Tasha thinking she was stealing but made a mistake 😢
The late 80s and early 90s was crazy you had to be there to really understand it
Imagine being in the studio around someone with this much energy and passion!
He was talking about Natasha harlines, she got shot by a Korean store owner
Classic
Just subscribe for the pac reactions love them 🔥🔥🔥
Love your style 💯 You should check out 2pac - I rather be ya N 🔥🔥
Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼& I’ll try to get to that soon👌🏻
When he said he's marked for death, he's speaking of his black panther bloodline the government is on him
Love you ❤️
Each verse he's pleading to God for help
That last is him not asking anymore
Can u please react 2
"Who do you believe in"
&
"they don't give a fuck about us"
The little girl name was "Natasha Harlin" she got killed by A Korean Lady in A corner store in L.A back in the 90's
Listen to
"I wonder if heavens got a ghetto" -2pac
The friend that he said set him up, is on the song with him. It’s Big Stretch, he’s helping PAC on the chorus.
Loving your pac reactions.
Latasha got shot n the back by a Korean store owner Bc she thought latasha was stealing wen she was goin to pay for a juice that was on her backpack
Oh damn that’s terrible😢
@Journey Marie Reacts . . . Pac always embraced that death was inevitable, and i believe he saw death in his near future because of his mind state for his peoples and their struggles that he shared. People who normally think about the black community and speak on the atrocities, don't tend to live a long life. He created a platform by being him and never stopped speaking on his beliefs. He stayed true despite everything else.
Pac would've been in college married with children, but again because of poverty all that changed like alot of young black males it's really a shame but we have seen it over an over !!! Again I have to always add that you are very beautiful!!!!
Lol thank you🙏🏼& yes so true
Pack will have no replacement nor the best rapper will appear on this entire planet. He was also a prophet foretelling events yet to come to pass.
🐐 glad you covering him he was 1 of a kind never be another artist close
Great choice great job. This is in my top 10 rap songs 🙌🏿💯

💯 keep rocking sista 👁️✊
🙏🏼😊
tupac - my block(remix) probably his best song
Even if we progress, inner-city neighborhoods most are so psychologically ill by the system will envy the success. To break the system cycle took a lot of life and still, we are suffering its effects.
Paaaaac 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
It was latasha harlins the young lady he spoke of
Great breakdown
trapped by tupac
a legend in his own time...love rom Africa
nice
"Crooked cop killing glock". Is a hard as bar.
Latasha didn't die from a straight bullet Asian woman shot her in the back of head fishing still in orange juice
Wow😢😢🙏🏼
She wasn't stealing anything
Everything was bad in South Central...was on the verge of a riot...
But when the Asian lady killed Latasha...pulled a gun on her because the Asian lady accused her of stealing and she even tryed to pay for it...was only a little bottle of orange juice. Latasha just turned around and I believe she was 14...the lady shot her in the back!! That wasn't just it....a judge also let her free without any time or anything...she got away with murder. And the LA riots were on!!
Pac was in LA and out there with no body guards and riding for Latasha and every other victim that fell to the hands of injustice or police
I would expect nothing less from him, he was amazing🙏🏼
Yea that whole situation was sooo tragic😢
✊🏾

Please check out another Tupac classic called "words of wisdom". Truly a gem from his first album!
2 suggestions:
1.) React to Tupacs interview with MTV's,
Tabitha Soren walking down Venice Beaches
boardwalk. They both have passed ,so it is
the best interview ive ever watched with him.
They both had an impact on each other afterwards and respect .
2.) Reacting live as you take the "wake me when I'm free "exhibit in l.a. of Tupacs poetry, memoribilia, etc.
On display(if it is still
open),but their are others who filmed their tour visit to react too.
Ok putting these on the list thank you!!

Another great reaction! I love how you actually read the lyrics. That's the best way to understand who Pac was. He always had a message. Great work
The little girl was shot in the back of the head by a Korean woman for trying to steal a bottle of orange juice
Someone informed me in the comments, tragic man😢
Correction. She wasn't stealing from the Korean store. The clerk thought she was stealing and grabbed Tasha.

React to Never call b again by 2pac 🙏
New sub much success to you Goddess Empress 🪶
Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼
The songs from this album was supposed to be for the thug style album.
There wasn't an album named "thug style". I think you meant to say " thug life vol 1" album.
There was a few from this album that were cut from the thug life album. The rest are random recordings from 92-94.
@@steviewattz there WAS a album called thug style that was scrapped. Look it up.
What was the sample for this song?
Also cant wait till you do the Vibe Interview.
Yess this is on the list for next time I film👌🏻
