After Pac got shot in quad studios in NYC, Pac was at Jasmine Guy’s House recovering, Jimmy Henchmen, passed along a message to Pac, if he wants to go to War, he better get his money right. Hence the line in that song.

Jimmy Henchmen set up the quad studio shooting and Hatian Jack set up the alleged rape case. The line where he says "and to that nigga that was down for me rest the dead, switch sides guess his new friends wanted him dead" is about Stretch who was there when he got shot the first time. Pac believed he was in on it. "Here come gunshots to Tut" is the name of one of the shooters. Tut said in an interview that Stretch was the one that was giving them the play by play on 2pac that night. Pac's 1st verse of his song Holla At Me is about Stretch also
It's very special to see how 2pac's music still can be played 20 plus after his death!. 🐐🐐
2PAC and Nas had beef. They actually confronted each other in New York. Nas had a gang of dudes with him with guns and 2PAC had a gang of dudes with guns as well. But they kept it brotherly, both walked off to the side and talked. 2PAC said he would take Nas name out of the diss, but didn't get a chance to. He died shortly after.
