CALIFORNIA DREAMS REUNION ON THE JIMMY FALLON TONIGHT SHOW

The full cast minus Aaron Jackson and Diana Uribe reunite on the Jimmy Fallon show and give us an exclusive look into their lives now and how the series put them on the map.
They also give us an exclusive playing of the famous theme song!
And of course, a comedic appearance by Dennis Haskins, aka "Mr Belding" from Saved by the Bell.
Jimmy Fallon had tried to reunite that cast but none of them wanted to.
Good to know none of the cast of the dreams have ego's!

Growing up in England, California Dreams would always remind me of the summer holidays where there would be kids programmes on TV every Monday-Friday and California Dreams would be on at 9am.
Being a pre-teen and a teen in the 90's was amazing. If I could re-live that time, I so would.
As long as you had satellite or cable TV being a kid in the 90s was brilliant

Jennie Kwan mostly stopped doing live-action after the show ended aside from a few guest spots and has mostly been doing voice-acting for anime since the 2000s.
I went to school with Michael Cade in NJ. We used to drive the history teacher nuts ! He acts the same way in real life lol

The fact that the audience joined in for "kinda groovy" and "good vibrations" told me the audience knows wassup
Arguably the best sitcom intro song ever. As a Cali born kid this song helped me achieve my dreams despite going through some tough dog days. "Don't wake me up if I'm dreaming."
Oh my god this reunion was so awesome and epic 😍😍😪😩😩😩I nearly cried when the whole cast came out I saw my childhood flash before my eyes. Jimmy is so awesome!!!

I can’t explain it this show was never as good as saved by the bell but California Dreams intro is so great that it takes you back to your child just listening to it.
They look awesome... so much nostalgia. Just brings back so much I miss about Saturday morning/noon programming. Good times ❤
That theme song takes me to a special time in my childhood. Seasons 3-5 were the best years of the show
Paul Smith , The first 2 seasons where Ok, but it just seems that the cast of seasons 3-5 had better chemistry in my opinion. Also, the actors/actress that played Jake, Tony, Sly and Tiffany were more seasoned in their roles in the final 3 seasons
@@tristone4992 i enjoyed the first 2 seasons more. the last 3 seasons felt a bit too cartoony and i didnt care much for the music compared to the first two seasons.
This and saved by the bell were definitely my favorites. 41 now, but still remember like it was yesterday. Saturdays!!!!!

These are the kind of things that he did when he had the Late Night show. After the switch to The Tonight Show it's all games and young axe with more style than substance. It's a shame he used all his talent to do is Impressions good comedy bits now one hour earlier and it's just an unwatchable show to the point where it's almost tragic

Amazing reunion! You guys made a lot of childhoods happy, including mine and I'm not even from the US, I am from Romania but I loved California Dreams. Along with Saved by the Bell and a few others too. A lot of laughs. Thanks everyone including writers, directors and all involved. Awesome!!

Out of all the songs I’ve ever heard pop songs rock songs songs from icons … this is the song that holds a deep rooted nostalgic memory for me and it brings back warm innocent feelings of my childhood

Jimmy Fallon should do a Kids Incorporated reunion! The cast changed a lot, but he should get the major members, including Fergie, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Renee Sands, Martika, Rahsaan, Ryan, etc to perform one song! That would be awesome!!!

These are the original cast of California Dreams with the exemption of Dennis Haskins who played Mr. Belding on Saved By The Bell but I am glad that he was there too.
Actually Jay Anthony Franke (Jake) and Jennie Kwan (Sam) were not one of the original cast of California Dreams, those two debuted in season 2 not season 1.

I'm really excited about the resurgence in the popularity of this great show! About 10 years ago, I was looking everywhere for CD content. There were no episodes issued for home video media, no music available except a few grainy, staticy clips on UA-cam and a MySpace page by someone who was officially involved with the music and show who had some kind of petitionto release the rights. Of course, now I'm broke and can't buy any of the seasons on DVD or buy digital copies of the music. BUT thanx to the internet, I can at least get small fixes here and there. Most importantly, I can listen to the theme song. I realize that for most people, it's a happy, sunny song. I personally have a darker interpretation of the song, but it saw me through some stuff I dont care to remember.

California Dreams does not get a lot of the "see i existed" the show deserves, and it was 1,0000% better the Saved by the Bell IMO. I loved the show. It was my reason for getting through the school week to Saturday Mornings, and have NBC at the ready.
All the cast are pretty much their character. So great.

I actually saw comments on some of the California Dreams videos claiming the actors couldn't really play and it was faked for the show. I guess this lays that to rest, they really did play and sing.
