It’s the holidays, and phone scammers are ramping back up! Remember, the Sheriff’s Office will NEVER call you for payment of any kind over the phone, especially not in the form of gift cards, cryptocurrency, or other unconventional means. If you’re ever in doubt, hang up with the caller and call us directly at 916-874-5115. Or do like one citizen did today and bring us in on a three-way call. We would love to talk to them!
