Just the late night adventure driving through Culver City, West Hollywood matching up some movie locations for last action, hero, and point break. Matching up Photo shoot location with the famous band Guns N’ Roses Also checking out the party scene in Hollywood. It was a fun night ending with meeting my friend.

I don't leave my house except for Doctor appointments. Not to go shopping, anything. When you lose your health, you have nothing 😞😢So yes, thanks for showing us places we wouldn't see otherwise. I have diabetes also. I quit drinking anything but coffee and water. COCA COLA was my big downfall. I quit drinking that, quit eating carbs, and I have lost 50 lbs. I don't even have to take any medication to regulate my blood sugar anymore. But I do have terrible diabetic nerve damage in my Feet. The pain is so BAD at night and I have a hard time sleeping.

think again.. its still can raise youre blood sugar reading . no such thing as sugar free unless its really all sugar free incuding fruit , substitute sweetner .
It's sweetened with erythritol which can cause blood clots. Pick your poison between diabetes or a heart attack.b

Just got back from Portugal- not ONE food commercial on tv. Everybody walks. Lunch is the main meal of the day. Other meals are basically snacks- a little piece of meat, cheese, bread- that's it. No wonder we are a fat country. Keep up the good work Mike!!

A little bit of bread or a lot, is still inflammatory. Eliminate the grains. Its what cattle get fed to fatten them up. It fattens up humans as well.
There are some UA-camrs that I am subscribed to that put out one or two videos a day. And I never miss any of them. Even if you put one out daily I would still watch every video. It's a lot better than regular television. And some of your experiences might give me a little education. Keep On Truckin mr. Mike

Sugar alcohol is a carbohydrate. Even though its impact on blood sugar is less than that of real sugar, it can raise blood sugar levels if you consume too much of it...that has it in those bars..just read carefully..a lot of saturated fat as well.

GIV, I love your videos. I lived in LA from the mid-70s until about 2015 with lots of holes for college and other relocation. I never took the time to explore the city like you do, even though I knew there was so much to see. You have a boundless knowledge on LA! You should write several different guide books for different parts of the city. You write it, I will edit them! Keep it up! Cheers!

10:17 we went to Monty's burger place on that street :) we even got free parking in that parking garage at the end of the street when I visited with my Ma and Grandma :) so many cars were getting towed or ticketed that day because it has quite the strict parking rule. Less than an hour in that parking garage and the attendant said "oh less than an hour you parked? Well its free". I swear everyone I met and talked to in California were just plain old nice, in Venice Beach at the corner gift shop near where the bike store fire was at, nice people in there too. Great video GIV :)

I stayed at Atla Cienega hotel back in the 80's-90's: my favorite hotel since it's perfectly located near Sunset Pl. and Beverly Center.. It was cheap like $34 a night. I stayed there for a week. It was so conveniently located in Weho.

I enjoy watching your early morning videos. It is 1:40 a.m. here in Northern California. Lived in a small town so there's nothing else to do. I would watch your videos regardless. Giv rocks
I hear all about all these "no carb diets" and such. I've talked to dieticians, nutritionists and MDs about what I do to keep the weight off (I've lost a lot of weight and am now lean) and no knowledgeable person has ever told me that I'm wrong. First, you need to take into account how aging affects metabolism. Then you need to eat to match your activity level. If I'm very active (physical work or exercise) I eat more. If I'm less active, I eat less. Sometimes my meals are 1500+ calories and sometimes they are 100 calories. So, the eating always follows the activity level. Sort of like what wild animals do. Predator and prey. They eat after they've done the work to get the food. And this is especially important as we get older; no late night snacks before bed. Old folks like us don't burn a lot of calories at night. If you're a 21 year old bodybuilder, you can safely ignore that last part.
From a 21-year old to the old age, there are like 4 decades gap!😂😂😂
Good job, Mike. I was in the middle of getting motivated to lose weight back in April. I was only 155lbs, but on me, it really shows. I'm a 5'7" athlete, who normally weighs 133 when I'm in shape. You, Mike, contributed to my motivation, and now I have lost 17 lbs. I've been 138 lbs all week. Time to see what 136 feels like. I cannot tell you how great I feel. I feel 20 years younger (I'm 59) and my fitness has gone through the roof. Thanks for being an inspiration!

Hello Michael! Love your videos. Whenever I am working, I have your videos playing in the background. I loved the Hollywood Sign video. Since I am a huge animal lover, I really enjoy you including the deers and other animals , as well as dogs and cats.
I am my mother's "night shift", I take care of my mother during part of the day when I wake up and am doing my work, then, I stay awake at night finishing my work and help my mother with anything she needs while the caregiver is asleep.
I really like how you are a "night owl". I know business hours is during the day, however, I really love how quiet and tranquil the world is at night. During the scorching summer in Los Angeles, the night is nice and cooler. In Arizona, I heard that it can still be toasty hot at night.
Your friend Louie is fascinating and also a night owl. How kind of him to get you new fanny packs. I used them too to store my iphone whenever I am out in our backyard at night. I put out bread, bird seeds, cat food soaked in water, and fresh clean water for all the birds who visit our backyard. My existence is stressful and I am usually behind with work, I de-stress by taking a long break and watch all the birds eating the food/water I put out in our backyard for them. 🐧🐦🐿

My husband and I love your videos. We watch a few people who put out a vlog everyday. I think it helps build your channel. It seems like when you go from 1-2 videos a week to daily vlogs your channel grows. Adam does daily ones and Philly captain and Tampa Jay to know a few. Philly and Jay have started doing more not everyday but it seems their channel is growing. We love anything you do and I love your music. I movedin Germany 10 years ago and I don't have a friend (I have my family though). Watching your videos is like hanging out with a German friend - and one that does interesting stuff in California (unlike Germans here, who are pretty boring).
