I was talking to my husband yesterday about your channel and how you amaze me with all you gracefully accomplish in keeping an orthodox home so beautifully, all while raising five children and working full time. I hope you don't mind that I referred to you as a Wonder Woman who never fails to impress me with your energy, talent, and dedication to upholding your faith and culture. You truly inspire me to do better.
You aren’t alone. This is definitely the Aspirational Homemaking Videos I didn’t know I needed in my life. I’ve been inspired too, I keep puff pastry in my freezer and prep my meals more efficiently thanks to Sonya’s videos 💕
With all your kitchen gadgets, what is your maintenance plan? Sharpening knives? Cleaning the oven? Etc. For Shabat, how do you keep your entrées heated/hot if you can't cook? Your videos are so inspiring. Thank you so much!
meant to comment earlier but just wanted to thank you for this video. I made your hamentaschen this year and they came out so delicious! Also all your tips were so helpful in making the process go so much smoother and quickly. This is definitely going to become my go-to recipe!
Sonya, I just made these for purim! Came out so delicious and what a simple easy to follow recipe. Happy PURIM! For those making, I suggest not to put too much filling and to make sure to pinch the corners so the cookies don’t open.
Hi,Sonya, I enjoyed every second of this video, all looks so delicious, and gorgeous, you are so talented BARUCH HASHEM!!!I would love to see a video with all your beautiful family during celebrating THE PURIM!!!HAVE A GREAT PURIM,MAY HASHEM BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR LOVED ONES, ALWAYS!!!💖💗😋😋💖💗💞💕😋😋💖
Megillot/scroll or book of Esther is read, children boo ,hiss ,spin groggers to drown out the name of Haman. Cheer Esther, Mordechai. They enact plays and dress in costume. Practice charity and the sending of portions - mishloach manot. Eat vegetarian (because like Daniel it's assumed she ate no unkosher meat in the king's palace) and triangular shaped foods(triangles said to be like Persian hats).
Love seeing the smiles and joy on your kiddos faces as they help you prepare different recipes. I enjoy making hamatachins with apricot jam but those lemon creations sound yummy!
I have an article on Purim recipes around the world, it had a recipe for Kulich (a Russian bread), but most interested in the recipe of, *Boyoja Ungola di Purim* it is a Morrocan recipe with a Chalah like bread with almonds, sesame seeds and you finish it with hard boiled eggs in the top. Sounds delicious and interesting. I have made hamentashen for years, its time to shake things up.
Shavua Tov! Thank you again for your amazing recipe my kids amd my husband just loved it ! They were tasty soft delicious. I shared your amazing video in France 🇫🇷 to my family .

Origin: book of Esther celebrating victory over anihilation plot led by Haman, a descendant of the Amalekites King Saul failed to fulfill God's instructions concerning . Esther was a descendant of the tribe of Benjamin as was Saul. Haman cast lots/pur to decide a destruction day. The people of Israel fasted and prayed. Esther went to the King requesting his and Haman's presence at a dinner where she posed her request to spare her people. Haman was hanged. The king gave a decree permitting them to fight back as he was unable to reverse the original decree. Esther instructed a feast in remembrance of the victory, saying for them to give gifts, and food to the poor. A fast is on the 13th of Adar ll,feast 14 and 15 . Mishloach manot (the sending of portions) are goodie baskets given.
