The most beautiful sunset I've ever seen in my whole life was at Joshua tree national monument. I've been to some pretty spectacular places. The very first day I was in Palm springs it was 116.
It was probably one of our most beautiful sunsets we had ever seen when we were there too. That a HOT day! Couldn’t imagine a temp like that when the humidity is high. That’s one of the things we like so much about Palm Springs, is the low humidity.
Thank you both for taking me along on this adventure. Absolutely fascinating Joshua trees and other plant life and rock formations. That sunset!!!!! Whoa!
Hey guys! JT has been on our bucket list for a while. Good friends go there several times a year. More crowded on a Sat than I would like, but bet it is great during the week. Looks like Vinnie is still in the family. Good luck with that. Ya’ll have a great week and best of luck on your hunt to replace Vinnie
It’s definitely a bucket list stop. Be sure to go at a time when you can end the day at Keys View for the gorgeous sunset. Much better in person as anything always is. We have new news on Vinny coming soon! 😊🤓
WOW, gorgeous video! I like the way you show a map of your route(s) and sometimes freeze the view(s) or speed them up, also the way, in some videos, you show views both ahead and behind you. Editing takes a great deal of work and a good eye; it’s much appreciated 👍🏼. Last but not least, congratulations on your new rig - really nice 😊
So glad you are enjoying so.cal. One of these days so hope to meet the two of you on the road 😁 Question, when he makes funny faces when you say something funny , Do you smack him ? 🤣🤣🤭🤭Safe Travels to you 🥰😘
We hope to meet you too! We are always joking around, I’m just smarter and save it for off camera! 😂 Although, I have been known to give him a “love slug” once in a while.🤓
Apiphobia The word is derived from Latin 'api' which means bees and Greek 'phobos' meaning deep dread or fear. Many people suffering from Apiphobia are not only afraid of bees, but also fear wasps (spheksophobia), yellow jackets and all other swarming and flying insects that sting.
Met my wife at the top of the Palm Springs Tramway on a hiking trip. Many trips to Joshua Tree. Interesting to see how crowded it is now, was not that way in the late 70's. And would be a totally different trip now then when I was young. Don't think we did any marked hikes, we just enjoyed the views and did whatever. Have some B&W pictures taken there. Saw you using a real camera, that was first time I've noticed you two using that. Now if I walk, I must turn on my walking app so I get 'credit' for any walking! Thanks again for taking us along on your outings. P.S. Sometime you should show yourself running back to pickup your camera after taking the walking away shots, I always imagine all the extra setup and walking it takes to get those shots.
@@LivinRVision Don't remember where or even if I actually proposed :> After 40+ years those details start to fade! Been meaning to mention how sincere and kind your UA-cam replies are. You give a great example to follow of being nice!

You guys do some great videos. Not only do you film great scenery but you capture the wildlife & the plants too. It feels like we are there with you! Great work!
Thanks for the lovely video. We use to live in Palm Desert in 1970's, went back for a visit in 2000. I bet it has really built up. We would go to Joshua Tree National park at least once a year in the spring when we lived there. I am hoping to travel there next spring again.
Thanks for another amazing video!!! There is nothing like JT Nat Park in the winter. So my suggestion for a return trip would be to enter the park from Chiriaco Summit and stop at Payton museum if your haven’t been already. We used to ride our motorcycles via that route. Generally we would meet up at one of the casinos for breakfast and then head east on I-10. Have you visited Living Desert Reserve yet? Keep up the fantastic videos Neal
We thought about going that other route on another day to JTNP. Yes, we went to the Living Desert 2 years ago. It’s worth going! We have a video on it. 😁🤓

A beautiful sunset behind a beautiful couple! That was an amazing video with all the various rock formations, from Hershey Kiss, to Barker Dam, the Skulls, to Cap, totally awesome. Through your eyes I am able to see. The Pinion Tree story was interesting. Loved seeing the Roadrunner again. The Joshua Trees have odd shapes, but they are neat! That was kind of weird feeling like you ran over me in the car. See you both next week! Stay safe!

In my opinion, the most disappointing thing about the National Parks are the crowds and the noise they make. Wouldn't it be nicer if you could sit and enjoy the sunset in silence?
Another great video guys, some beautiful country you were in. Absolutely gorgeous sunset. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Looking forward to seeing what you get for your next RV. Safe travels guys.
We catch your videos every Saturday morning in Sarnia Ontario. Excited to see what your next RV choice will be, I agree with Brian, a B Class would fit your on the road lifestyle. Perhaps you have entertained a rental as a test exercise.
That’s a good idea, if everything could work out with where to store your stuff while testing IF you test after your RV sells or if you do it while you still have another RV, THEN you run into the issue that you can’t make two reservations in the Thousand Trails system at the same time. You would have to keep one rig one place/campground while testing the other at another campground. So then you would have the extra cost of an additional campground outside the TT system. Many different ways to look at it, but you would definitely want to test the exact model you wanted to get, otherwise it wouldn’t be the same. Some models have much more space than others. Appreciate the idea. 😊🤓
You two are looking good with that gorgeous sunset as a backdrop. Brian, you are quite good at editing thanks for pausing on road signs. Michelle thank you for the history lessons I enjoy that also. Go Hawks.
amazing sunset! i think u would like the chiricahua mountians and the national monument in az. lots of cool rock formations. I-10 goes right thru texas canyon which is part of the chiricahuas.

Yes we saw the burned RVs (2 of them) on the dealers other lot. We had heard about that fire by way of Facebook but we weren’t at the TT resort at the time it happened. Crazy!!
We love Sherman’s Deli and stop in whenever we are in Palm Springs. Have never tried breakfast there though. The French dip is my favorite sandwich there - made with brisket instead of the standard roast beef.
Oh we decided to try the brisket and ordered the Rueben Stacker. It has 2 meats and usually have choice of pastrami, corned beef and roast beef so this time we tried it with brisket and corned beef. It was sooo good!
Once more you have made another roadtrippin' adventure fun!!! I even like watching the stripes go by in the middle of the road!! Y'all take care of y'all and be careful out there. Are you referring to what taxes we pay at each campground we stay at? We don’t pay anything at the membership campgrounds. Yes, we both hate to see the litter bugs ESPECIALLY on trails and there are a lot unfortunately. We really enjoyed the trails we took this day. Easy and lots of interesting and beautiful views. 🧡😁🤓
Sorry to hear you didn't like the Eggs Benedict at Sherman's Deli. I tried it and the English Muffin was soft, buttery and delicious and the Hollandaise was decent. You guys did a great job filming your visit - we also wish we had more daylight this time of year! Take care and safe travels! xo
I think she was spoiled by the Eggs Benedict she had in Florida at Toojays and had high expectations after her coconut cream pie and rueben at Sherman’s. Lol Thanks Laura! Yes, the lack of daylight really cuts into your days enjoying the outdoor views. Safe travels to you guys as well! 🧡😊🤓
On our channel Monty, we mix it up to try to keep it more interesting and not boring. Some people like it one way and others like it another...so we just do US. 😊🤓
Oh yeah! Great sandwiches at Sherman’s! We hear that the carrot cake is awesome too but have never tried it yet. Ha! We joke with each other a lot. If we were both heavy...then things may be different. Lol 😉
It’s all Brian, he always picks up on things really easily. No prior experience either but he is always so hard on himself and seems to never be completely happy with his own work. A bit of a perfectionist! 🤓

Awww love the hummingbirds~ love the split screen w/map! Always have to stimulate the economy Brian! Can you tell me what yall pay for taxes on each stay? I’m glad the visitor center was open. :) Oh, Michelle. MY BIGGEST PET PEAVE IS LITTER BUGS!!! GGRRRRR. This was such a lovely trail!
Lol
Thanks Laura!
Yes, the lack of daylight really cuts into your days enjoying the outdoor views.
Safe travels to you guys as well! 🧡😊🤓
Great video! Last video you had a north face camper tee that I can’t find anywhere. Any hints
Thank you! 😊🤓 I got that T-shirt at the Cabazon outlet mall at the North Face in Cabazon California just outside of Palm Springs.
Point the camera toward the views you're walking thru, less the narrators?
On our channel Monty, we mix it up to try to keep it more interesting and not boring. Some people like it one way and others like it another...so we just do US. 😊🤓
Hey, thanks for your time. You're doing you just fine. Happy trails.
Love the pastrami sandwich and carrot cake at Sherman's. I'm surprised you didn't get a back hand to the head about the butt remark. Lol 🤣
Oh yeah! Great sandwiches at Sherman’s! We hear that the carrot cake is awesome too but have never tried it yet.
Ha! We joke with each other a lot. If we were both heavy...then things may be different. Lol 😉
Absolute gorgeous sunset the park you went to was gorgeous as well, but I have to agree; you did not pick up that poop bag did you?😱🤢
Oh heavens no! 😂
One of you is great at editing. What are your background?
It’s all Brian, he always picks up on things really easily. No prior experience either but he is always so hard on himself and seems to never be completely happy with his own work. A bit of a perfectionist! 🤓
is Joshua Tree near the date farms?
Melissophobia, or apiphobia, is when you have an intense fear of bees.
Lots of date farms in the area.
Or....”Beephobia” 😂🤣 Hope you caught that it was a joke. 😁
You guys have caused us to go in debt for a new Motorhome. Got rider of looking at Vinny and then looking at Ms Betty. She is getting old
What did you get? Vinny is pretty old too, a 2009.😊🤓
@@LivinRVision a 2014 Winnebago Sightseer 33c with 15000 miles . Going to pick it up at one. Have fun today. We hope to be on the road in late 2022
Very nice! Congratulations!! Looking forward to meeting you both out there in 2022! 😊🤓
Nice views way too many people though
Yes it was very busy that day.
Oh not enough people, I’m sure we could fit another 50,000. What a mess!
😂🤣😂
Do you find for the most part, people wearing masks?
Yes, MUCH more people wearing masks now. We occasionally take ours off in a safe place when we speak on camera, simply to be heard better. Then, back on it goes when the camera goes off.
I just wondered about other people out at tourist spots.
Yep, as we said, it seems that they are wearing them much more than they were at the beginning of all this.
Fear of Bees is Apiphobia
Yep, that’s me! 🤓 🐝
Beautiful pictures but I noticed you have a tendency to shoot people and cut their heads off, lol just kidding. Gorgeous photos.
🤔 😂 Thanks for watching! 😊🤓
