I believe the earlier generations of GT used a horrendous rubber band effect to keep gameplay competitive with limited CPU players in the game. GT6 you can lap players with a very fast car on certain tracks. I'm still playing GT6 to this day and look forward to 4K HDR full glory in GT7. Dusk races will look phenomenal.

@@captmaverickableGT5 AI on GT NASCAR Cup also are very brutal on Daytona. I always ended up dead last both on A Spec and B Spec!

GT40 and appear as an opponent in Rome (Historic Car Cup) with 10 Hp more than the race allows (295 Hp);
Vector M12 LM appear as an opponent in Trial Mountains (30 laps);
Citroen Xsara appears as an opponent in Enduro SS Route 5 (50 laps), being that he is a street car and should appear in Trial Mountain (30 laps).
Citroen Xsara and Vector M12 LM appear to have been replaced by a game error ...
In GT3 and GT4 I didn't see that kind of error happen anymore.
The fact that the GT40 has 10 more hp than allowed is not a bug and happens in a number of events it’s done to add a sense of difficulty

Still looks the same how i play on my PS2. You can't really have these games on HD since they weren't meant for it. I always found it hilarious when people try to HD PS1 games. There will never be a difference.

Nope, im using ePSXe mate .. but this time im using teh PAL version, since NTSC dont have "Tougher Ai Codes" (PAL version gameplay seems like a little bit choppy than the NTSC). :P

I dont know if PD made this intentionally,but AI for GT40 is the fastest(often beating GTone).What is impressive is the Stratos finishing less than 1 sec behind it lol

Honestly this exhaust sound was good in GT2. Didn't know it went this far back. They used it again in GT4.

I got a copy of the game and I've tried it on PS1 and PS3, and yeah, the loading times are kinda slow, is not your emulator.
