But to the average person listing/selling/shipping something on eBay is many times over more complicated than selling it cheap at your yard sale where the whole goal is to declutter your life. I sell on ebay just like this guy and when I have a yard sale I practically give stuff away. Resellers love taking the stuff I don't want to mess with for $1-$2 bucks each. People walk out with totes full. I'm happy they're happy we're all happy. Can they make money doing all the work reselling on ebay? Yeah... and that's great. I love it. Better them than Goodwill.

I think People at yard sales are tired of reseller, showing up to their houses filming them and under paying them for their stuff. then they using them as UA-cam content to make even more money off of them. UA-camrs are the ones that are exposing everything so eventually people at yard sales we’re going to wise up.

I can't believe you passed up on that Craftsman socket set. I have dozens of extra sockets from sales I have been to and get them in a bundle deal because they aren't complete sets. I have complete at least 6 sets of Craftsman socket sets with the ones I pick up.

your jersey is the authentic from the 90's
the ones with nike swoosh with the same nike labels are also from the 90's but its a replica version that they sold in like footlocker n champs but the numbers are imprinted in the fabric
the one with jumpman logo are the swingman version from Y2K

idk how you find so many yard sales i live in one of the densest states yet theres barley 5 yard sales worth driving to each weekend if that and they usually 20-35 mins apart. Two are gonna be all baby clothes and toys..one will be some picture frames and kitchen trinkets and maybe one sale that has one or two things i see worth buying..what apps do you use besides craigslist and facebook?

Up here in canada...any video game store has a ps3 console for 70 canadian. They all have stacks of them on hand.

eBay len rarely ever works. Maybe work for something extremely popular like video games where they have thousands of exactly games for sale on eBay. For stuff like glass, vintage item, it won’t work.

I really enjoy your wife thrifting. She is so polite. She also understands that it's hard work getting a yard sale together. Unless she is bundling she is so fair with people as far as what they are asking. I respect she doesn't try to beat every person out of a $1 or $2 if it's a fair price. I didn't care for picking up all them shoes. The new expensive ones " yes " good item to flip. The ones that where kids/youths I would have left. I'm sure there is kids in the neighborhood that need shoes and the parents could have bought them for them. Kids make such fun of kids at school that don't have name brand and some parents are single an have to buy what they can. So nice shoes at yard sales for youths/kids should be left for them. JMO I wouldn't want to make a profit off them when it could keep a kid from being made fun of. You can always go back later in day an if still there buy them all or whats left.
Well, I guess it would take kids that need those specific sizes and liked those specific styles to go by the garage sale. Sorry the shoe thing offended you so much.
@@propicker yes agree it would. I wasn't being mean just an opinion since pickers get there at 7am or early and people with kids haven't gotten out there yet to even see them. It was a good deal to flip for profit. I wouldn't have mentioned had it not been a whole tote of name brand. It's hard for people to find good used shoes for kids because pickers go to the Goodwill, thrift shops, yard sales, church sales, etc.

You could literally always make the argument that someone needs something more or has less money available to buy it? See a good deal at the grocery store? Better pass so someone who needs it more can get it. The reality is if people who don't want stuff don't buy it at garage sales much of it will end up thrown away or donated, which is no help to the person holding the sale.

It's not truly important how much they pay as it is cost vs pay so cost of goods and cost if shipping and fees needs to net you around half your sale price

Hello, I'm a new viewer and I had a couple questions. does comp mean listing? how long does it take to sell something? & what happens if you don't sell an item, how long do you keep it? Thanks :)
Comps mean they are sold listings on ebay. We hang onto items for different lengths of time depending on what it is. We occasionally get rid of stuff on places like whatnot, or flea markets, and our own garage sales.

Not a Knock just a observation. Resellers have a Habit of adding up amount of the items then telling the seller how much they owe without the seller verifying by looking at prices marked. Personally been a seller and good business practice is to verify and not just take anyone's word for the price? Notice Time 22.09 female seller not just taking money without checking the price tag?

I misinterpreted what you said as I do that to the people I'm buying from which is an unfortunately common thing in the business. As far as doing it in the recaps, I never want to mislead people into thinking I'm making more than I actually will make. We do often sit on things for awhile before they move or take offers.
