@@richduperbash2966I have 5 and 7 year old boys that I’m trying to get into the hobby. I got them Mojave Groms and they’ll play with them for one pack and then move on to something else. How did you do it with your son?
I started my son and daughter early as well. They ran 6s rigs on 4s until they learned more control, but started with 2WD ECX 1/10 scales on lower power. Kids attention spans vary. Keep it fun and don't sweat it when parts break. My kids interest has varied through the years. It became much more challenging once they became teenagers 😂. Keep it short and fun. Enjoy whatever time you can and respect their other interests.
@@richduperbash2966 I remember what it was like being a teenager mainly wanting to hang out with friends lol. I appreciate the feedback. I still can’t decide if I should buy a Mojave 6s, Fireteam 6s or Kraton 6s EXB. I’ve only had buggies and never a bigger badger type rig. I enjoy your channel. Thanks
Awesome session with your son there Rich he was killing it. His fireteam took a couple hard hits very impressive. It kept moving. I would love to hit that big jump that you were standing on top of that looked massive. Also loved the thumbnail shot at the end. Perfect. 💯🤩👊👊
Thanks so very much Brother Aldo 🤗. Felt so awesome to see Andrew back out and having fun 🚀🚀. That new jump sends it pretty good. It's kind of a blind takeoff, but puts the truck right over your head 😂. Both trucks did awesome and Andrew made it a blast 😍🍻😎💪👊👊
Thanks so much Brother Avery 🤗. Such a great afternoon with Andrew. The mosquitoes were getting us bass fishing, but it was an awesome day all around 😍
Thanks so much Thomas 🤗. It's tough competing with Andrew's other interests and activities. Felt awesome to have him back out. Fishing was great too aside from a few mosquito swarms 😂
Awesome run boyz!💪. So cool seeing the 2 fireteams getting sent. Even though dad is running the 1650, stock electronics are still capable and fun. Dueling Duperbash’s! That watch a great watch, let s see more fellas!
Thanks so much Brother Phil 🤗. Such a fun session with a perfect weather day amidst an otherwise wet winter here in California. Andrew was getting it in with the stock system 🚀🚀. Truly appreciate it!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Go Team Durango!!! Errr I mean TEAM ARRMA !!! Been a big fan of Arrma since before they were arrma . Some of the best guys making cars out there. So glad they still make the best of the best in Rc cars
Thanks so very much Brother David 🤗. Yeah I was beyond bummed realizing none of the group session footage was there 🤢. Getting out with Andrew really took away the sting. Such a fun session with blue skies 😍
Awesome bash Rich! I keep trying to get my son out, he just isn't that interested in the hobby. He does love my typhon 6s that's his favorite rig and the notorious. He doesn't like the kraton much thinks it's to big. lol! He is only eleven so hopefully in time I can get him to enjoy it more? He is a gamer so it's all about video games right now! I am thinking about getting a Team Corally rig don't know which one to get between the Kagama or the Ausuga. I see your friend RCdude81 just released a video on the Asuga and he seemed to really like it. I'm thinking the Kagama and see how it is against the Kraton. keep up the good work really like your videos. Happy bashing brother!
So sick! Family ripping is the best. I can't rip for a few months. My Kraton EXB 6s skipped on the side of the ramp and changed trajectory full throttle right into my left forearm breaking both my radius and ulna. My DX3 Radio is in many pieces. The Kraton EXB barely had a scratch, lol.
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. That's nuts busting your arm with a ramp shaver, but I could totally see how it could happen 👀. The speed is insane with these rigs. Glad you didn't take a direct face or head shot at least. Most of us have been tagged before and it's no joke. Hope you heal well my friend 🙏
Love my fireteam it's on the bench right now getting the full go threw with some m2c basherqueen and vitavon goodies. Love to see the fireteam in action great videos 💪🏼
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. The Fireteam is easily one of my favorite all around bashers 😍. Love the cage, the plush suspension, and overall handling. The fun factor is off the hook 😂
Wait, you are local to me in the Sacto area? I've been wanting to find that bash spot in your videos for a while now! Thought you were in AZ or Las Vegas! There is a chance..
Thanks Brother 😁. I absolutely love the Max6 combo, but only run it on 6s geared tall with a 22 or 23T. I personally think 8s is complete overkill for the tires, gears, and added weight. 6s absolutely rips 🚀🚀
Agree , love the max 6 but 8s becomes counterproductive, it’s unnecessary wear and tear usually lower kv motors adding weight . It’s better for roosting loose dirt 😂
Hey Rich seeing alot more of this team corally. New to me. Heard they go back some years. Cant help but notice the look a like with all mighty kraton. Whats your take ? Thanx
Team Corally is making some nice looking bashers. I'm only marginally interested because there's no local and limited U.S. based parts support and I hate waiting for parts when my rigs break. They reached out to me several years ago, but the dude was pushy and I don't play that. I won't consider trying one until parts are readily available here in the States. The Asuga looks pretty cool though 🍻

Thanks so very much Joshua 🤗. The Fireteam is still one of the funnest rigs I've ever owned and I'm so happy to hear you got one Brother!!! I'm running 90 weight oil in the shocks. For diffs I'm running 50/500/20 thousand CST (front to rear). Hope you can make yours just how you want over time. I'm inspired to hear your passion for the hobby Joshua 😁. Thanks for sharing my friend. 🍻😎💪👊👊
How do you feel about the Keaton 8s motor (1250kv 4685) in this fire team truck? Paired with the g2 200 amp blue tooth esc? Can it run 6s through that setup all day no issues and would it be more power and less heat than the max 6 setup here?
The 1250kv motor requires a very tall pinion to get any good speed out of on 6s. You could make it work, but the HW 1650 is a better setup in my opinion.
I usually use 1/4" self adhesive felt padding from Walmart. Also use it on the bodies up front to pad between the body and front shock caps during hard wrecks.
Hey Thomas 🤗. There are now 3 different rear chassis braces. The standard Kraton and Outcast use the same rear chassis brace. The Mojave, Fireteam, and Big Rock 6s use the Talion style rear brace. You able to make it threw entire pack without over heating issues with that combo & gearing or you stopping to let them cool down threw out the run?
I could run non stop with this gearing no problem. The Hobbywing 1650 4985 needs a 22-23T pinion to maximize it's potential. 🍻
