Trains at Stratford - 04/10/2022

Filmed on 04/10/2022. This is it, the final trainspotting session of this our holiday in Devon and London. Now, most of us aware of how tricky it can be to do a decent trainspotting session at London Liverpool Street. It is dark and under either a main road or a big car park. So, we decided to venture up the line to one of the busiest stations in East London, this is Stratford (Season 9 Episode 39)
A very busy trainspotting station with plenty of traffic coming and going. With trains going along the Great Eastern Mainline to seaside resorts like Clacton-On-Sea, to the northern terminus of Norwich and travelling along some stunning countryside.
Few of the biggest surprises is the Elizabeth Line is still operating their class 315's but are mostly used on driver training duties and route learning for their Shenfield to London Liverpool Street stopping services. C2C is also spotted with their driver training runs of London Fenchurch Street station is closed, they will divert to London Liverpool Street.

The 315 nearly caught me off guard but was a grand surprise before they were withdrawn, I think they are now? The air conditioned class 321's are very nice units to ride on.

The 313's most of them are now withdrawn. Some are working for Southern for now. The Flirt class 745's do sound epic at speed, sounds like old school F1 cars. Thank you Ethan :-)

Yeah, the air conditioned 321's are still going very strong. Ex TFL Rail class 315. It looked like it could have been either on test or route learning duties.

Yeah, it is a shame but sadly this is the case of the Great Eastern Mainline. Was grateful to have captured the last and the remaining of the class 321's that were in service.

London Euston to Watford Junction
London Liverpool Street to Cingford
Richmond to Stratford

West Croydon/Crystal Palace to Highbury & Islington
New Cross to Dalston Junction
