The 720s are REALLY fast accelerating for 10car trains (although not the fastest, thats held by 331s) Stratford is a little odd as an interchange since it has passing trains as well. Thanks Ben 😃
Nice video! Stadler Flirt and Bombardier Aventra (since January 2021 = Alstom Aventra) trains are very delicious, hot and nice! I am very happy they also serve InterCity trainlines, because they are originally for local and slow train services with about more stops.
They should do a revamp on platform 9/10 so it it’s covered over more. Not hardly anywhere you can stand on those platforms without getting soaked when it’s raining. Nice to see there are still some class 321s going atm aswell
class 745/1s always say stansted express and greateranglia. im not sure abiut the /0. additionally, in COVID, stansted express trains were moved to GA services
Hello, The 321s and 317s have very similar traction packages although they are slightly different: Class 317: GEC G315BZ Class 321: Brush TM2141C Thanks :)
The irony is that at the time of filming, I assumed that the 317s would go first so I was slighly frustrated by them both being 379s. As it turns out, it was the best result 😃 Weekends are always a bit of a gamble for freight.

Stratford station was the busiest railway station in 2020 - 2021, with entries/exits of 13.985 million passengers. St Pancras came in at number 13, with entries/exits of 6.363 million passengers. This is 100% less than Stratford, and Eurostar still snub Stratford as a recognised international station. I've haven't even started with the busiest tube stations rankings...
@@transitcaptain Maybe it was fast earlier but caught up with a passenger? I once saw a 345 at P5 and another RIGHT behind it at a red signal at the rear of platform, so trains do get close.
I use Cyberlink Powerdirector for clip editing, Adobe Photoshop for thumbnails and Adobe After Effects for information cards, intro and outro. Hope this helps 😃
Guaranteed killer before I watch it Edit: i know this video was filmed last year, but maybe filming them further along the line might be an idea. Did some spotting at Maryland and the 720s and especially the 745s are really starting to wind it up by then, but the views for filming are not the best because of the fencing blocking platforms 3 and 4.

Either North End of Platform 10, 10A or South End of platform 9. There isn’t really an ideal place to catch everything so you’ll end up running around if you do! Hope this helps 😃
Sorry guys, I’ve been watching your conversation 😉. I’m a fan of the 321s but it depends what your comparing; the 720s are sooo much better in terms of accessibility and features but are worse in some areas such as motor sounds and livery variety. The 357s are nearly 20 years old as well!
It’s weird to see trains that look like they belong at Leeds in London with the ex-Northern stock. It’s also nice to see spoilt Londoners put up with old stock for once, instead of the people of the North.

It always amazes me how that class 745 can get up to speed so quickly
But I wish they weren't the flirt 160 (they run at 160 kph) but flirt 200 units (they run at 200 kph) so that they were actually "intercity" trains
Here in Germany its completely normal for an electric multiple unit train to accelerate that fast

it's my least favourite station to go to because of the crowds who can't follow the "walk on the left" signs 😡

If they have a pantograph or the tracks have a 3rd rail means it's electric or you can just listen too the train sounds
