- In this recent video, we go over my wife and I's Nissan Xterra 4x4 overland rig. This is mostly an introduction to the channel of this badass truck, but also to serve as a flashback for me to look back on to see after mods are done to truck.

nissans Xterras/Frontiers are rock solid! good video.
I have a 97 t100 extra cab. Was thinking of switching to one of theses. It looks great!
Is Beautiful 😁
Have a 15 Xterra Pro-4X (Black/6MT) purchased new. Not sure exactly how you intend on using your rig, but there is something to be said about investing as little as possible to accomplish your needs and not get too caught up in 'upgrades'. Mine is stock except for a roof basket. For a young family you can always find other ways to spend or invest your money...
Nice truck friend. What you see in the video is where we're pretty much stopping with the rig. My views have changed since the video.. Plus economy etc also changed my mind. I really like the truck the way it is. Just gotta get her mechanically right is all down the road.
Thanks for watching friend!
The clunking noises up front could be your coil bucket coming into contact with your stock UCA.
That's exactly it. I'll get new UCAs eventually
@@CGGarage All Dogs off-road or JBA off-road make great products at a decent price. I just put on a set of JBA upper control arms on and it makes a world of difference.
@@dominicellison4804I got the ado uca's on my frontier they have been awesome.
✊🏾
2011 xterra here pro 4x stock here.
Hey I really like your X. I just got a pathfinder and I’m always looking for cheap mods to do. Do you know of any?
Hey! UA-cam didn't notify me when you dropped this comment! Apologies!
Pathfinders are cool. I would recommend lighting (adding off road lights), or even doing interior mods to freshen up the look while you save the money for your lift, or any outside the vehicle mods you're looking at doing.
So you have a add a leaf on the back and 2 1/2". Rough country lift on the front. Is this correct?
I have an add a leaf on the back and looking at the 2 1/2" front....just for doing water bars. 2011 S for me in black
We have a 2 1/2" RC lift in front, and a extended lift shackle in back. No add a leaf.
Nice rig dude. Yea 2.5" is perfect for that.
@@CGGarage how much of a extended shackle for the back. Want to level it out like how yours looks
@@Davejansma unsure, I can measure the shackle out tomorrow, but look it up on rough countries website for more info. They have a complete kit online for like $500+
Idk my dude....that hat says an entirely different story....Xterra owners would not wear it...just saying.
🤣 Great comment bro! I just like my Japanese vehicles. I actually have a custom made Xterra hat, it's a badass one too. Thanks for watching bro!
What size tires do you have?
285/75R16
Any rubbing issues?
Yeah a little bit, only at full lock. I'll be making a video and going into detail soon about the "Melt mod" for it. @@81696laxbro
How to make an Xterra into an "overlander".. Drive it off road.
Lol
