Right? The ease and playfulness just really emphasizes their vocal mastery. Next level. I really wish Western folks of older generations could hear them, cuz I’m sure they’d love their R&B soulfulness.
Excellent comment. I'm an older folk (65) who has enjoyed multiple genres of music (but mostly rock); however, I grew up listening to Motown, R&B, Funk, etc. & didn't discover Mamamoo until this past year & you're right - I absolutely adore these women!
Yo Mamamoo is different, when they go into "I Miss You" and Solar lets loose you can't help but feel that. Y'all might need to get back in the mamamoo bag after this.

the English subtitles on this Killing Voice are not auto-generated. it's manually added. it's not 100% perfect but it's very descent translation.
Just wanted to point out something: the leader in a Kpop group doesn't mean that they have strong vocals or that they have a specific range in vocals. I think you mean the main vocal (a term used in Kpop) as that. [Though, I want to point out that Mamamoo doesn't officially has a main vocal since all three official vocalists are good.]
The leader in a Kpop group is usually the one having responsibilities, usually talks in interviews, has the members in check etc. So, it's more of a leader in an organising way rather than actually depicting that in songs. Though, obviously, Solar has amazing vocals but that isn't what the leader means in Kpop.

Your choice on the caption thing, but just some advice on it. If you turn them on and it says "English" you're probably good, as a fan or the channel most likely added the captions and they're generally accurate. If they say "English (auto-generated) just turn them back off and use your imagination because it's probably just as accurate if not even more on point than whatever those are about to tell you.
