About the anchor points, from the render of what it will look like, there are going to be pylons on top of that steel that converge in the middle, almost like a pyramid. This is where the cables will be anchored, so they will build that on top of that structure.
Yes that is correct, but the anchor points i am referring to at the moment are to support the existing cables for the current roof structure whilst they remove the original pylons.
The new pylons on top of the new structure are happening at a later date

This isn’t correct.
The current cables are being re-anchored to those two steel towers. Later in construction they will build new triangle roof supports (which you refer to) to hold up the new roof with a new set of cables.
The anchoring to the towers is to hold up the current cable net which will still be needed to complete the cable loop which holds up the East and West Stand roofs - and for the time being the current North Stand roof as well.
@@TheMagicianBee that exactly what I have said, current cables are being connected to the new towers at the anchor points I have shown, then the new roof cables will be on the new pyramid sections yet to be built

Hope you're more informed about the various racecourses Salford & Manchester had, they've gone pretty much unnoticed since their closure. Same thing is happening with more of the sporting past, at White City where a rugby International was played and the Fallowfield Stadium where the only F. A. Cup Final ever held in Manchester was played.
