He has good movement and decent awareness but if there was to be a hole in his game it is his striking, but the fear of the takedown nullifies most strikers strategies and they can't really fight how they want to of that makes sense

He was probably also "encouraged" not to stop the fight unless someone was out cold or if they tapped. Herb Dean saved Conor's life
Funny how in Round 3, Conor would land literally anything and the commentators would start shouting. Khabib was clocking Conor in the face with hard shots and the commentators were silent. Perfect example is at 2:53. That was a hard right hook that landed and the commentators do not say a single word about it. Yes this is cut off, but In the video of the actual fight they say nothing still.
Agree and it lead to many people accepting the notion Mcgregor won the 3rd round. When in reality, Khabib landed the better shots in my opinion.
But because it wasn't contested on the ground (Khabib's percevied domain) and Mcgregor mounted a couple of moments of offence (compared to the absolute zero he mounted before that), it was automatically given and accepted by many as a Mcgregor round.
This is because they think conor has more power and his shots do more damage... u gotta think he fought alvarez before this and his power looked crazy in that fight.
