.. well, I'm glad to hear it. I was referring to this particular video, which to me gave the impression of a very small venue, like the dives I used to play myself in the 70's.. I told my son when he decided to play guitar, to listen to Roy Buchanan. "Don't try to play like him, just listen to his sould pour out..." when Robert Johnson sang about Hell Hounds on his trail, it evoked a powerful image. When Roy played it, the mortal terror would flow like a current from his sould to yours.
@trish463 he wanted the fame, but disliked what came with it....he was frustated he did not find the kind of success he wanted, but yes! he loved the music and making it....I read this in a RS article, he said it. He loathed the hypocresy of it all., He was awesome!
I had seen Roy many times and his supporting band and set up was always lacking. Almost like he just showed up and they found him a band. Roy always played great himself but I totally agree with you. A lot of wasted talent and sadly missed. Take care
The signer isn't bad, but he should really defer more to Roy here. Sing it but don't add to the length of the lyrics. That is Roy freaking Buchanan you are playing with dude! you're not Robert Plant, and Roy is better than Jimmy Page

He makes it look so easy - maybe it is for him
Este señor es un maestro de la guitarra sin duda alguna- nadie le da por los pies , simplemente es grandioso
I want one of those t shirts hanging up behind the band.

I wish he once had a deserving band behind him, instead of these garage fellas.
yep, and a manager who could work with his giant talent

Better than Zep even without all the sound boards and engineers. Just RAW and playing with a garage band. What a guitar player!!!!
what i would give to be that guy up front dancing
wanted to get on tv lol
i really liked what the singer was doing
Jimi page would have enjoyed seeing this recital
