    Not a baby at all! I totally get it! I redid a table top for friends outside last weekend and it was 110 heat index here with 98% humidity. I had to be super careful when I did the oil poly coats because i was dripping sweat everywhere lol! It sucked the life out of me! I brushed, did not spray! My heart goes out to you working in a hot garage!!!

    The blue thing! Been meaning to tell you... I found super thin felt with adhesive and I can easily replace crusty felt and even put felt on a credit card or a flat edged scrapers.

    We've been having our first heatwave of the year in BC as well. No AC in my garage so I've been painting at night as that's the only time it cools down enough to do so without wrecking my piece. So my new schedule is painting from 10pm to 5am. lol Sometimes you just gotta adapt. Hahahaha

    So one thing I use I'm not sure others do is a hemostat or needle holder. I'm betting you'd have to do internet search but you can lock it to hold those tiny nails. Works better than everything else I've tried.
