I cook my pasta is seafood boil and a little chicken broth; often, I smoke chicken thighs in a pan with added broth for my corn bread dressing and I'll add a little of the smokey broth for added depth of flavor...I like using smoked gouda to my mac as well...but I love the smokey flavor in just about everything! This looks great AB! I layer mine just like this.😍 I use white cheeses also- asiago, provolone, parm, fontina and mozz. I steep herbs and aromatics in the half and half, similar to what you'd find in a seafood stock. And I lightly season all the seafood, which is usually crab, shrimp and langostine, with flavors you'd find in a MD crab cake. Then I blend and strain the half and half, and make the cheese sauce. I like a little hot sauce in mine too. Sometimes I blend boursin cheese in the sauce, but it doesn't really need it. That thang FIRE!😁
That's Fiyah..! I would Probably add a little finely grated fresh fennel bulb. Not much, just a touch. I'm with you on the scallops though. And just a touch of bacon for that crunch.. Mmmhmm
I’m going to add crawfish, tomatoes, and mushrooms when I make this delicious recipe…everything looked soooo good…and I would have sprinkled a lil paprika and parsley on the top as it browned…but this is definitely a game changer…I can’t wait to make this dish/recipe…
