Cool, great idea. I wanted to write already that it would be nice to change the scroll speed with a foot lever but seeing it being so accessible it is not necessary.
I had option to make from sewing machine motor, they selling it with pedal speed control, but I had this jig saw, found it in electronics recycle bin, so decided just use all the parts from it 😉
Tiene poco vaivén... ¿ 2 Cms. ? Mínimo 3. La que hice yo en 2005 tiene 4 ahora estoy en proyecto de otra; también 4 (o poco más) Cms. Aprovecho mucho más las seguetas. En fin, cada cual con su proyecto. Saludos.

I'm about to try this using my laser cutter, I'm going to cut layers and layers of wood, stack them up and assemble, unfortunately the scroll saw I was going to buy has been backordered since Dec. 6th, its still out of stock, I will have to make one, I hope this works out, thanks alot

Hi , what is the lenght between two arm pivots ? Is it equal to blade lenght or a little more ? Thank you.
Blade is 135mm lenght, between pivots centers 130mm, it’s almost equal🙂
sembra facile ma non lo è per un semplice motivo:non tutti hanno l'attrezzatura chre occorre per realizzarlo.
