- Hi friends! I apologize for my raspy voice. Just got my health back haha! But anyway, today, we will be doing another Real Nendoroid vs Fake Nendoroid comparison! Whoa! Last time we did this was six months ago! 😲
As usual, heere’s the Nendoroid comparison in order:
👉🏻 first, box details comparison
👉🏻 then, we compare the nendoroid parts
👉🏻 after that, we will compare the articulation between the real Inosuke nendoroid versus the fake Inosuke nendoroid
👉🏻 and lastly, we compare the price difference
We begin with the front of the box. Real Inosuke nendoroid left side while Fake Inosuke nendoroid right side.
The real Inosuke nendoroid box has the kimetsu no yaiba or demon slayer series logo and the good smile company logo printed at the top. Meanwhile, the fake Inosuke nendoroid box doesn’t have anything printed on those same spots.
Also, have you noticed? The box alone is a bit confusing now! It’s not that usual yellowish fake nendoroid box!
It looks clean, presentable and the nendoroid photo looks clear in comparison to previous fake nendoroids we unboxed! the improvement!
Comparing the hair details made me impressed me again! The real one, undeniably looks better especially with the subtle blue color that becomes obvious only on certain angles, but the fake doesn’t look that bad either. They tried to copy but failed to do it perfectly.
However, it surprised me that the paint is not messy and there are no hair bumps! no ugly left-over mold or ugly cracks or gaps!
But you know what’s alarming? The fake Inosuke nendoroid is using the NEW nendoroid faceplate format! I don’t know if it’s like this for the other new fake nendoroids out there, but this is another level up for fake nendoroid manufacturers!
Obviously, we cannot do every pose out there due to the fake’s limitations. We can’t even detach his hair. It’s a shame.
The fake inosuke nendoroid definitely looks better in comparison to other fakes or to previous fake nendoroids that we unboxed. I hope this alerts goodsmile company as well. They need to make new adjustments to their new nendoroids that are about to get released in the future.
It would greatly help a lot of people and new nendoroid collectors out there if they make more obvious marks that indicate authenticity.
I mean, not everyone has keen eyes and it’s not impossible that someone would get tricked.
Not everyone has the time to get thorough on every purchase and given it looks a bit closer to the real nendoroid, there’s a big chance that someone out there might assume the bootleg is legit.
This drives me to make more nendoroid comparisons now! I was supposed to make this my last to be honest since I thought I had enough nendoroid comparison videos, but the fake inosuke nendoroid looks better now, makes me wonder about other new fake nendoroids as well?!
The quality of new fake nendoroids are getting better for sure. Best be careful my friends!

This is really scary that this looks VERY SIMILAR to the real one! And that the parts ACTUALLY FIT. These people are getting better and better at coping these Nendroids and it concerns me bc they'll be able to sell more look alikes in favor of real ones for a lower price and steal more money from GS! 😢
Indeed. I hope GSC gets to see more fakes are getting better at copying them so they'll make more details that could determine authenticity further. I mean, what if someone sells a fake without a box. Someone new to the hobby would still fall for it probably. Given the new nendoroids fit the real ones. 🤔😭 GSC step up your game toooooo

@@azurestrike6551 That's not the point tho. I can understand wanting to save money but getting a bootleg ain't the answer. The people that make the Nendroids work hard every single day to make them and it's a very delicate process that takes a very long time, thus this is why they are so expensive but it's worth it knowing you own the official thing AND it's a way to thank the people who worked hard to do so. Compared to a cheaply made copy that doesn't even do everything it should I think that's a better alternative.

@@JennySupremo Posing has been a pain for over 2 decades for me ever since I got into Gunpla. With Nendos it's fun. I've got a scene already planned out: Kazuma steals Komi-San's panties, behind him are Dio and Sakuna ready to wreck him.
It's downright scary that bootlegs are improving! I literally just made a post warning people that they were making bootlegs of the newer hetalia nendoroids and to be careful. Even though the Hetalia nendo bootlegs are not as close to the original as the Inosuke one, but GS really need to step up their game! 😰
AAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNDDDD THIS IS WHY WE SHOULD BE MORE CAUTIOUS. especially those new to Nendo collecting. The new bootlegs are uping their game and just like you, I do hope GSC does something about it. Altho fakes are smaller in size from the original, newbies can't really tell if there's no authentic Nendo to compare it to IRL. Unless they already know the red flags of fakes. :/ The unfortunate scams. Ohh I could only imagine 😭😭😭

I can't believe they adapted the matte finish and new faceplate format. 🥴 I'm impressed myself. if they catch up with major changes, I don't think a lot of people would buy the originals if so. I mean, fakes will always be cheaper than the real ones. Hopefully, it won't get to that point 😭
Excellent video, thank you so much for making this! it looks like the one thing the bootlegs have yet to perfect is how the pieces fit together, which is common for fake figures. And its unlikely something that these bootleggers are likely to fix - by the time you have pulled it out of the box, the peddlers already have your money and your not likely to get it back. I didnt quite catch the price difference between these two items, but I am assuming that the knockoff has gotten more expensive than previous ones?
Nope. Unfortunately the price for the bootlegs stayed the same despite the improvement 😩😩 I just wish they won't have the guts to catch up. I can't imagine a day that bootlegs would have details on par with GSC. Omg. That's gonna end authentic Nendoroids

True. Some fakes nowadays are able to mimic the smooth matte finish real nendoroids have. Tas yung mga nendoroids na authentic pa ngayon, declining yung quality. :( So more people would rather buy cheaper fakes. nakaka frustrate haha

Where I live, I can rarely find original Nendoroids, and when I do, they are very expensive.
These videos are so helpful. I've got an inuyasha figure I got second hand. You haven't made an inuyasha figure real vs fake yet but these are good to see what all real figures should have :) my figure is real!!!

I already got Inuyasha on my list of requests however, no chance of buying his nendoroid yet. Honestly not much of a big fan as well so he's not on my prio list. Sorry about that. T^T But after doing a few nendoroid comparison, I could already tell, most of them have the same differences. Specially the boxes. :3
This really helped me alot of figuring out real to bootleg nendo but I would sadly go for fake or bootlegs bcuz I'm to damn poor to buy some of it. Maybe one day I would get some authentic nendo or get lucky to buy some of it in PH
There are a lot of for sale nendos over Facebook tho. Usually nendos with a price of 2k can be bought within range of 900php - 1,500php already. I hope you get to buy yours one day 💕

Ya hallo!!! Welcome to Nendoroid Collecting! It's awesome you just started and you already have a nendoroid doll. It took me a while to commit to buying a nendo doll tbh hehe. This is an unsolicited advice but since it's your first, if you don't know yet, once in a while, take off his clothes and just let him naked. Sometimes, the color transfers on the body and becomes a slight stain. If you don't mind that tho then just enjoy and display ^_^v

I understand your concerns. But I'm too poor to really care about it. If they weren't so expensive and there was official distribution, there wouldn't be so many pirated copies. You, who in our eyes are rich, can afford to notice the small differences and buy the original.
Well, it's called a luxury item for a reason. Not everyone who buys the original are rich automatically. I for instance have to save for a long time to buy the figure.

I bought a fake nendoroid on purpose because I seriously cant afford the ones that are like 55 or 100 i read the full description and it said it was from China the nendoroid is arriving on like 21st December
TBH of all the fake nendoroids I have/had, fake Inosuke was the closest to the real one. It's mind blowing

If possible, do not act as if your replicas are dying in your videos because their hair does not separate. This problem also occurs in the original.

I’m always watching these because I’m getting 2 more nendoroids from my grandmother who is in the Philippines and I’m not sure if they’re real or fake so I’m being aware.
