Do I reaaaaaaally want this. 5. If I don't buy this now, and if this gets sold out, can I live without regrets? After you have your answers then you can decide whether to buy it or not. Consider that lucky. It's not always that way. I've only bought few fakes due to my fake Vs real Comparison videos and so far, I only acquired 1 with a decent quality compared to an authentic nendoroid. 🤔 So for you buying a good quality Nendo, that's lucky IMO
I also can't say if he's worth his after market price. He's a fairly simple nendoroid. He, however, has a lot of accessories. That must've contributed to his price. It's just up to you ☺️ what does your finances permit.
I just looked btw, and he was like 200 bucks on eBay, BUT I found a seller bidding him and it looks authentic, however there isn’t a box. It is 45 dollars and ends in 6 days I believe. If you don’t care about the box, the seller is named 33pstar

you should compare the yuji itadori nendoroid, the fake looks 90% same (maybe) as the original one, the face plates looks good too, not like hinata nendoroid

Is it wrong to buy fakes on purpose? Like I have a ton of old characters I want (Monokuma, Makoto, L, Light, REM, Etc) but I simply can’t spend that kind of money. And the ones not from wish don’t look to terrible. But where do you find them?
The answers are both yes and no. NO-- if we consider importance and financial situation. Since a nendoroid is a luxury item, it's a given that they will have fakes and buying them is an option. YES-- if we consider respecting the root. Both anime/manga/official merch. Imagine the hard work they do and all the planning and companies would just steal their work and people would buy those stolen works because they're cheaper. That's how I look at it. Bootleg buyers are okay but IMO since we all know these items are for display, might as well save and just choose the authentic Nendoroids. They support the figure industry afterall. However, ofcourse, with a given situation, the decision and if it's right or wrong will always depend on the buyer. 🤷🏻♀️

It's usually goes up due to demand after the release. Try placing an order during pre order period. It costs less. Imagine, I bought a zero two for 39 USD and now it's almost back to 100. Such a huge price gap. (●´⌓`●)

Hi 👋 I got a question. If a nendroid is sold out will it be restock ? Recently I just started getting into anime figures and I plan to buy it in the future as the currency is ($100=RM 423.25 ).Cause mostly character with high popularity will be restock again but I do not know wherether the figure I want is popular enough to be restock again. So is there a way to check it ?
There's no way to know re stocks in advance unfortunately. GoodSmile just do what we call re runs. It depends on character/nendoroid popularity as well. This is why I always advice people to place orders during pre order period to avoid getting frustrated whenever their loved characters get sold out. There's also the after market price that usually blows. The price jump gets too high sometimes. You just have to check goodsmile from time to time or follow their social media for announcements if ever. I follow them on Facebook for updates incase they suddenly plan to re stock hehe
They're getting closer it's getting scary. It actually doesn't look like a fake if not only for the unfinished lips and looking from an untrained eye tbh. Just the faceplates I mean. This is dangerous if someone thinks of selling them in splits

The majority of the time the bootleggers get ahold of a real copy of the Nendoroid they’d like to mass produce, then they create molds of each piece. These molds already have imperfections but the more you use a mold, the more distorted the product will get!
I don't even know why lol. Not all fakes are the same since they may have not the same manufacturer or since they don't have the best quality control there might be a lot of defects. They look defective already tho 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ mine just had a gap and it made me hate the fake L more tbh

I'm sorry. I don't have the authentic nendoroid for that character so I can't make a comparison. However, most the nendoroids are the same especially with the fakes. Red flags like the box has no Goodsmile company Nendo logo or good smile company logo, crooked plastic blister, clear nendoroid base and shiny faceplates. 👌🏻
Buying bootleg is not entirely bad. I mean, to be frank it's like buying a stolen work. However, this hobby is a luxury so some people might get tempted into buying fakes since they're cheaper. It's not like you've sinned by doing so. However, if you buy authentic figures, that's not only supporting the hard work of whoever thought of the idea, that's also supporting the figure industry. So if you got extra cash or you got time to save, please give original figures a chance 😊😊
If it's bigger I don't think it will. But nothing tact glue can't fix. But I don't think forcing fakes on authentic parts does good. You might have paint transfers and that's a waste of authentic materials
I ordered a yuri on ice nendoriod on Solars Japan website, the labels are all on the box but the background has his number and it slides out. He is real or fake?
It depends. Yuri seems to be one of the bit older nendoroids and they used to have details on their background cardboards. Best way to check authenticity is if the neck ball joints or any ball joint actually, is carved with a smiley, GSC logo or if the base is frosty matte finish and has a manufacturer printed on one of its sides
I know, I understand. The real ones nowadays are very expensive. I understand if you would buy the fake but in my own opinion it would never scale to the real one. Every fake is different too so we might not know if others are of good quality however I don't encourage buying fakes. It will be all up to your decision tho. 😉👌 Whatever makes you happy, you should follow

Is it wrong to buy fakes on purpose? Like I have a ton of old characters I want (Monokuma, Makoto, L, Light, REM, Etc) but I simply can’t spend that kind of money. And the ones not from wish don’t look to terrible. But where do you find them?
The answers are both yes and no.
NO-- if we consider importance and financial situation. Since a nendoroid is a luxury item, it's a given that they will have fakes and buying them is an option.
YES-- if we consider respecting the root. Both anime/manga/official merch. Imagine the hard work they do and all the planning and companies would just steal their work and people would buy those stolen works because they're cheaper.
That's how I look at it. Bootleg buyers are okay but IMO since we all know these items are for display, might as well save and just choose the authentic Nendoroids. They support the figure industry afterall.
However, ofcourse, with a given situation, the decision and if it's right or wrong will always depend on the buyer. 🤷🏻♀️

It's usually goes up due to demand after the release. Try placing an order during pre order period. It costs less. Imagine, I bought a zero two for 39 USD and now it's almost back to 100. Such a huge price gap. (●´⌓`●)

Recently I just started getting into anime figures and I plan to buy it in the future as the currency is ($100=RM 423.25 ).Cause mostly character with high popularity will be restock again but I do not know wherether the figure I want is popular enough to be restock again. So is there a way to check it ?
There's no way to know re stocks in advance unfortunately. GoodSmile just do what we call re runs. It depends on character/nendoroid popularity as well. This is why I always advice people to place orders during pre order period to avoid getting frustrated whenever their loved characters get sold out. There's also the after market price that usually blows. The price jump gets too high sometimes. You just have to check goodsmile from time to time or follow their social media for announcements if ever. I follow them on Facebook for updates incase they suddenly plan to re stock hehe

They're getting closer it's getting scary. It actually doesn't look like a fake if not only for the unfinished lips and looking from an untrained eye tbh. Just the faceplates I mean. This is dangerous if someone thinks of selling them in splits

The majority of the time the bootleggers get ahold of a real copy of the Nendoroid they’d like to mass produce, then they create molds of each piece. These molds already have imperfections but the more you use a mold, the more distorted the product will get!

I'm sorry. I don't have the authentic nendoroid for that character so I can't make a comparison. However, most the nendoroids are the same especially with the fakes. Red flags like the box has no Goodsmile company Nendo logo or good smile company logo, crooked plastic blister, clear nendoroid base and shiny faceplates. 👌🏻

Buying bootleg is not entirely bad. I mean, to be frank it's like buying a stolen work. However, this hobby is a luxury so some people might get tempted into buying fakes since they're cheaper. It's not like you've sinned by doing so. However, if you buy authentic figures, that's not only supporting the hard work of whoever thought of the idea, that's also supporting the figure industry. So if you got extra cash or you got time to save, please give original figures a chance 😊😊

If it's bigger I don't think it will. But nothing tact glue can't fix. But I don't think forcing fakes on authentic parts does good. You might have paint transfers and that's a waste of authentic materials

I ordered a yuri on ice nendoriod on Solars Japan website, the labels are all on the box but the background has his number and it slides out. He is real or fake?
It depends. Yuri seems to be one of the bit older nendoroids and they used to have details on their background cardboards. Best way to check authenticity is if the neck ball joints or any ball joint actually, is carved with a smiley, GSC logo or if the base is frosty matte finish and has a manufacturer printed on one of its sides
