They look so regal & elegant, standing there. This was an excellent enlightening series - I'll never look at turkey vultures the same way again. We have lots of them where we live & every day at 2pm 4-5 of them circle over our neighborhood. It always creeped me out. Probably because there are so many retirees living here. 🤭
I live in NYS. We have about 20 turkey buzzards that return to our woods every spring. They are amazing to watch. They are generally like clockwork every morning and evening.
Be careful. Now that they can reach the window sills you could spook them into a premature fledge. Wouldn't necessarily be the end of the world if they left before they could fly - the parents would feed them on the ground. The danger is that there are foxes and other perils down there. Try to keep your distance next week, particularly if they are on the window sills.
Really have to credit the mother for finding such a safe dry place for these babies to grow, exercise & fledge unnoticed. Smart birds! Wondering, will these babies, if females, return here to lay eggs? 🤔

Yes we will! Unfortunately the opportunity for videos slows down in the fall/winter in Canada so we have been putting those videos on pause during this turkey vulture series but will resume shortly.
There was an old tobacco barn across the street for 30 years. It was a gathering place for turkey vultures, frequently as many as a dozen. Two years ago, the barn was torn down getting ready for 2 new homes 😞, no more turkey vultures.
This is like Christmas Eve , you look forward to the big day but once it’s been and gone you have to wait until next year again….. So , this being the second season you’ve filmed the Turkey Vulture series can I ask who first discovered that upstairs of that old dilapidated house some eggs/ young chicks were being bred and decided it would make a good series to follow? Will you do it again next year? ….don’t think “ it’ll get boring” , it won’t , it’s a cracker
Hi David, we have visited this "haunted house" for many years as it is along a ATV trail that we go on. It was always a fun stop when the kids were young. About 4 years ago we went upstairs to show some guests the house and that is when we discovered the vultures for the first time. The next year we documented their growth through pictures and that brings us to the past 2 years of this UA-cam series! We will film them again next year!

I left you a message on Facebook about a video you are in.
The fox removal video.
You all mentioned this being called the haunted house. Did anyone else hear the static noise everytime she was near the steps?

Creepy Birds...I wonder if they Are related to the CONDOR or The African Vulture...
