Best Preparation Material, Books and Tips to Clear IAS Exam:
Today, Our Institute Student Junaid Ahmad, Who secured AIR 3 in UPSC CSE 2018, sharing a complete 1-year general strategy in Our Classroom for CSE aspirants. IAS or the Indian Administrative service exam is an esteemed exam, which is amidst the 24 services such as IFS, IPS where the UPSC takes responsibility for carrying on the civil service examination. When an individual is selected as an IAS officer there have varied roles for him such as commissioner, collector, chief secretary, and head of public sector units, cabinet secretary and more. Apart from the experiences and challenges the ambit to bring in positive changes in Millions of Indians life is a challenge and makes the career option a unique one.
Important Preparation Material and Paper Pattern:
The UPSC plan of exams for IAS has two stages where the first one is the civil services preliminary examination and civil services main examination with interview. The civil services preliminary examination will be an objective type pattern with two papers which are general studies I and general studies II. Both the paper is of 200 marks each with negative marking. A few books which can be used for preliminary preparation are mentioned. India struggle for freedom by Bipin Chandra, Gandhi Nehru Tagore and Ambedkar by Gopal Krishna, economic and commercial geography of India by Sharma Cotinho, evolution of Indian economy by I C Dhingra, Indian constitution by D.D.Basu, NCERT books and daily newspapers are few recommended books.
Planning Method:
Starting early for preparation is always good along with planning a schedule for a sure shot for success. An individual needs to read more and more for IAS exam, reading a lot of newspapers, economic survey and all NCERT text books are beneficial. General studies and aptitude sections should be practiced well and revised two times before exams. Another smart way for preparing is by making short notes which can help you revise quickly. Current affairs, GK, GS, and optional subjects can be noted in short notes. For individuals who desire to save attempts and time seeking the help of best coaching center is the best way.
Time Management for IAS EXAM:
Time management from both preliminary and main exam of IAS is mandatory to complete and revise the syllabus. Make a schedule of all the essential activities in a day. Studies should be allotted for about 8 to 10 hours a day including coaching sessions. Depending upon your background you can dedicate 2 hours every day for General paper II and rest for paper I. for ones who decide to dedicate more time for paper II can do so and allot 3 to 4 hours a day. Make it a habit to read newspapers every day and make short notes of them. Allot one hour for reading current affairs paper and other magazines like Kurukshetra and Yojana. The remaining 4 to 5 hours can be dedicated for general studies paper I. divide time as per the subjects and start reading. Setting deadlines and targets are important as you can complete small tasks and syllabus can be completed. Also remember to have a good sleep for about 6 to 8 hours a day. Stop studying 24 hours before the exam as it would make you anxious.
These few tips are beneficial for IAS aspirants as they can crack the exam with ease. Using the right material, running through previous years papers and proper training are mandatory to crack IAS exam.

Whenever i feel demotivated i watch this video..humbleness can be clearly seen on his face. Every thing is good in his speech but the most important thing i grab from this speech is courage....when every thing was moving towards negative way he make such decision to qualify upsc.

I was with held in class 6 and 9th
I was very depressed all was teasing even my family that I will guarantee fail in 10th boards that made me very hurt and I started.Studying and I got 84% in 10th boards I know that percentage is not great but for me it's far away then best all was shocked literary my father brother.got me a job in call centre they was having so much hope that I will not pass but it hurt me so I started studying in 3 months I did I know not a big achievement but for me it is now preparing for upsc 2025 😇😇😇
