    I ended up passing the May 2023 level 1 exam. I had some life events come up that really disrupted my studying the month and a half before the test, but did my best to try and get studying in every single day. Take AJs advice, especially formula sheets and mock exams. You can do it guys!

    Everyone says you need to practice mock exams, but no one says where can you access them. I am thinking to buy:
    2 Kaplan exams
    2 chalk and board exams
    1 from Gumroad
    1 from UWorld
    2 frees i found through 300hours
    2 from the CFA Institute (everyone has them)
    Does someone have found more exams to practice with them?
    Regards,
    Javier

    Hi AJ, just going to ask what would you think,
    Completed all CFAI Qbanks, currently on Bluebox (Grey ones) questions while having almost 50 days till the exam.
    Would you think it is mindlful, considering my current progress, to start my mock exam period an exactly month before my exam (I have currently 3 mocks in total, 1 from Prep provider 2 from CFAI)?

    Hey AJ. Can you share how to revise the vast L2 curriculum? Does Kaplan cover everything comprehensively in the revision notes?

    • @straighttalks-ajsrmek323
      @straighttalks-ajsrmek323  Рік тому

      Yea, basically Kaplan notes, CFA BBs then CFA EOCs. I have a paid course coming out about this exact thing in a couple weeks.

    Hi AJ, thanks for your content.
    I recently moved to the United States, and in Mexico I graduated as economist but I don't have any studies here. Do you think CFA level 1 could help me to get a job even without other studies here?

    Hey AJ! I just passed the May '23 Level I Exam, and was wondering if I would be eligible to register for the Level II in November '23 (a friend of mine told me you're only allowed to give one level per year which is why im confused)

      @@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 Would you say that targeting to finish the program at the youngest age possible provides the most value? Is it helping your career more at a younger age or now?

      @@brians4640 I wouldn't say its more or less valuable at a certain age. However, if you think of your career as a compounding return, it can be good to get over the big hurdles early on.

    Hey AJ, I currently just took my first mock exam this week and scored around a 40% (through Kaplan). So far I have only gone through the notes and videos that Kaplan provides, I would solve the quizzes at the end of the module and that's about it. I was wondering if It would be more beneficial to either practice CFA questions or Kaplans Qbank they provide, on top of BB questions and EOC questions?
    Also, when doing tons of practice problems how would you suggest going about when actually going through the problems? Taking notes on why I got the problem wrong or just hammering out questions until they get embedded into my brain?

    • @straighttalks-ajsrmek323
      @straighttalks-ajsrmek323  Рік тому +1

      BBs, EOCs, then CFA questions. And yes hammer them out over and over until you can answer them correctly. I have a paid course about this exact topic coming out soon.
