Ive run this deck for a couple of years now, its amazing, really snowbally 1 turn where you can get some damage off, and your dropping eldrazi for free, pingers are alwase great and that one desert that pings people is suprisingly nice
@@isaiahcalhoun822 the main challenge is getting out your commander consistently and havingthe right balance of big boys so you don’t get stuck with a bad hand. For a more competitive build, I would lean into eldrazi almost exclusively and have consistent ways to deal damage on the spot and cheat out your commander! :)
@isaiahcalhoun822 rowan scion of war is the cedh version of this deck. Turns out it's way easier to drain yourself rather then others. I've struggle to make rakdos really consistent I'm cedh. To many pieces for not enough of a pay off. Cedh is a bit to cutthroat for the big boy
I played this back when he first came out and looking to rebuild. One of the best cards i dont see here is Lim-Dul's Hex. Passive ways to ping are huge, and while avoidable, the whole table will never pay up to avoid it.
Realize this is 2 months later but.... I think the best possible additions for this deck are Imodane, the Pyrohammer and Bloodletter of Aclazotz (minus the fact they are 3 and 2 pips...) and Fiery Emancipation. Havoc festival + = half their life x 2 rounded up. Other ways you can make Imodane work, and Fiery is just way too powerful with all of this combat damage + other damage being done. I think I just found my next commander.
@@MTGAlphaArchfiend of despair deserves a seat also, possibly instead of wound reflection. same thing, but on a big potentially heavily discounted body.

Think it can be competitive cedh level?
Awesome! I love making slight upgrades to this deck. It’s definitely a lot of fun

Well...that looks super fun! I've been looking for a commander for self drain @@plaopro
Cool legion cards

I never knew that card existed. Yeah, that would be great in this deck! Thank you for the recommendation. It's essentially Sanctum of Stone Fangs

I’d love to see your deck list! Bloodletter is getting a spot in here for sure. Already have a copy, just need to find the room 😁
