People are building their deck around many things.
But there are two cards which should be the first two cards you should add in a atla deck.
And those are "Thornbite Staff" and "Maskwood Nexus".
Maskwood Nexus is a insta win card with a sac outlet on the board since it makes all our creatures an egg.
And with cards that shuffle the grave back in library, like Ulamog or Kozilek, you can go infinite.
Since you play Worldspine Wurm, Terror of the Peaks would be infinite damage or with Altar of dementia, you can remove eeveryones deck.
Thornbite Staff is the best untap engine for atla.
The 2 mana ability is nice when you are missing an sac outlet but the main thing is that atla untaps every time a creature dies.
So if you sac an egg or it dies to clamp, you untap atla for another token.
I play this deck now for about a year and it is one of the stronger ones i have in my arsenal.

whats the point of running city of shadows? exiling doesnt trigger your eggs
@@glenkoshi5675 but it does! City of Shadows sacrifices a creature and then instead of the grave they go to exile.
So the egg died and triggers atla.
@@Darkling665 No, it doesnt. It directly exiles the creature so Atlas ability isnt triggered. I've run it on MTGO online before
@@glenkoshi5675 oh .. crap... I just looked it up and it seems like it got an errata..ish treatment.
It clearly says "T: Sacrifice one of your creatures, but remove it from the game instead of placing it in your graveyard."
in print as if the exile is a replacement effect but then the oracle text says
"Tap, Exile a creature you control: Put a storage counter on City of Shadows."
Come on.. with that city of shadows is completely useless for me :/
@@Darkling665 You can play Lazotep Quarry instead of City of Shadow. It's basically a better high market
I like using culling dais for another sac and draw option. I don't have bombardment lol
