They have their own fantastic in-house production team so their sound is very consistent and the albums and stories they express are thought through and planned years ahead which really shows - even if they switch from aggressive to cute to sexy it never feels random, there's a lot of foreshadowing, reoccurring themes and referencing past songs. Slight correction. It's A-tease with a hard T. 80's is typically pronounced with a soft T (almost a D). Korean has different characters for the two sounds (ㅌ/ㄷ).

It sounds like 80s to me when Hongjo says, "hi, we're Ateez". Though 80s can sound different depending on where a English speaker is from, for me it's not a D sound nor a soft T. The enunciation is more on the A and T. Of course it's totally different when announced at awards and shows. So the way I've heard 80s most times sounds like Hongjo's pronunciation on his intro of Ateez.

Hi here's some deep dive info for you! ATEEZ 8 members that came onto the scene as KQFellaz with hip hop-styled dance videos that caused a huge international interest. I cannot stress this enough! When you hit the MVs for Treasure Ep2? Make sure you watch the mvs to the very end! There are teasers to the next comeback song or a song at the end. ATEEZ gave ATINY the chance to vote on the song they wanted for the comeback title Illusion won - but they still gave us a video for Wave. It's best to watch Illusion first and then Wave. Aurora was the one song that was mentioned for Hongjoong's writing/composing. They made a video for it as a gift!

ATEEZ was participating in Kingdom Legendary War while promoting for Fireworks + KDrama filming [Imitation] for 4 of the members. I mention this because they incorporated their theme into all of their Kingdom performance. There are elements of those performances that they will incorporate into Fever Epilogue and even in the current release Don't Stop. I'd love to see you check out their performances for Kingdom! Not to mention there are some fun StrayTeez moments along with other talented groups to see!

I recommend Hala Hala, Thanxx, Turbulence, Inception, Win, To The Beat (color coded video only, no official one), The Leaders and Rocky (also color coded vids only). Fireworks.. Ok enough for now.
Slight correction. It's A-tease with a hard T. 80's is typically pronounced with a soft T (almost a D). Korean has different characters for the two sounds (ㅌ/ㄷ).
@@FlagGov You're speaking about Korean characters when I'm simply using phonetics. What it sounds like to me as an English speaker may not even exist in Korean. It sounds like 80s to me when Hongjo says, "hi, we're Ateez". Though 80s can sound different depending on where a English speaker is from, for me it's not a D sound nor a soft T. The enunciation is more on the A and T. Of course it's totally different when announced at awards and shows. So the way I've heard 80s most times sounds like Hongjo's pronunciation on his intro of Ateez.
