435K isn’t cheap, but the only other boat this flawless and reliable, is probably a NEW one. And what would THAT cost ? I wish the new owners all the best, what a find.
@@drx1xym154 I owned a Moody 38CC - and I had to sell it after 6 yrs of ownership! In these 6 yrs I I changed from working to pensioner and I couldn't pay for the regular costs anymore. A double loss within a very short time! Was hard to swallow!
Lovely boat, just a thought though. I don't think the head in the bow makes much sense. Taking a shower or a dump while underway in rough weather would be challenging.
We do not put the listing price in the video due to the fact that price changes often occur. This particular yacht has been sold, otherwise, the link to the listing and price would be included in the description.
Hi Jeremy, Solstice has been sold. We do have Take Five, a 2011 H46, arriving in Fort Lauderdale soon from Jamaica. Happy to send you details. Erik Haaland erik@davidwaltersyachts.com
Yes! Almost every Hylas 46 is owned by a couple, and several single hand. I would recommend a setup that has electric main furling and electric primary winches at a minimum. Depending on your area of sail, a removable inner forestay would be great so that you can tack the genoa easily. -Erik Haaland
@@DavidWaltersYachts thanks for the info Erik I haven't found a woman yet that isn't afraid of the deep ocean and intimidated at the thought of sailing accross it.
Ask the current owner if he would have mercy on a disabled OCD old man and sell him this boat for $100,000 with the promise, written contract, that I would sell it back to him at a lower price if I ever sold the boat. I would keep the boat in excellent condition. I am sick and tired of being stuck at home for 24 years and would love to see some place before my life is over. Thank you.
@@DavidWaltersYachts Thanks for telling me that,I guess I want a boat, so I keep trying to talk myself out of it, forgive my cynicism, I'm really not...
One of the most beautiful Hylas 46’s I’ve ever seen. Can’t believe she’s 12 years old.
That boat is absolutely Flawless! And it shows you could see there's not a scratch on it amazing
I'll save everyone the trouble -- 435,000
Thank you
wow
Thank you very much.
That's the list price. What is the likely sell price? $300,000? $350,000?
what a beautiful boat

Awesome yachts
Damn! My new favourite boat!! Just need to win the lottery now so I can buy it!! Lol 👍
and maintain it! even a 46' sailboat is never inexpensive - even after it is paid for.

Great Video, great boat.
5* my friend.
How much is this going for???
Not quite sure why so many components have been replaced already (engine panel, mains’l furling unit, new paint)?
Some yacht owners are perfectionists!
David Walters Yachts I’m sure you are correct. I have a 1997 model and all the original components which is why I found that odd.
Just talk about the look - what's about the technic, the real stuff?

Indeed. 'Tis a very tumultuous world out there best to stay in port for safety sake. 🤢
Island packet or Hylas?
Solstice, to correct the spelling, sorry
Why don’t you announce the asking price ???

Is this Boat still on the Market...?

Take gold?
Can these be sailed solo?

Interesting how people buy boats only to sell them a short time later. Is there a lesson here?
This seller has owned two Hylas' and several power yachts. He loves the water!
