Bass starts at 9:15
Thank you.
Bass lines are my worst enemy!....when I listen to Kev Brown especially I find myself really trying to emulate that technique. Thank you for the vid...I find a bit of distortion beefs my bass sounds up too!
same
Are you using eq and compression?
Side chain your bass and kick?
Bass is simple
Alot of people struggle with basslines best keeping it simple...what I do is have a simple synth bass line bouncing and I have a real low filtered down bass to him a few time every couple of bars that way u get nice low ends but also have a bassline playing a melody.. best way to find the right note is make it with your voice then find it on the keyboard or pitch the note down to fit
Nice beat. I agree with the "study, study, study" part, especially when you show you can know your stuff and still have fun making music.
Appreciate you Rito!! Thanks for watching. I’m always trying to inspire the community and change the thinking of how music is made.
I'm having to learn how to study.

Killer tutorial as always. Don't know if you'll ever see this, but you've been an absolutely huge part of me learning the boom bap style. I couldn't be doing what I do if not for you and people like you! Thanks so much man.
Appreciate the love fam!! I read all comments. I don’t always have the time to respond to all of them, but I def see every single one!! 🙏🏽💯
This sound like something early 2000s Marshall would get on, you went crazy bro
I live for boom bap beats and I just found the perfect channel! Lookin forward you all your content! 🙏
Awesome! Thank you! appreciate you for tuning in.
Bro, you may have just saved my life...Thanks for this. only missing component to my beats was the bassline.
Beautiful man,,, just beautiful. Keep 'em coming.
Yes King. Been waiting for this. Needed some inspiration, right on time. Respect bro!
Thanks fam!! 💯 appreciate you watching.
Go off king!!
That was fire, sickest beat I've heard in a while. Not just from you, I mean period. I wouldn't use the hihats throughout the entire beat tho, I love the simplicity without them. Reminds me a lot of Alchemist. Anyways keep up the good work, I always feel inspired after watching your videos!
Thanks VIL!! Yeah, its like that sometimes. Things font impress you for awhile then BOOM, something inspires you or just sparks that bone in you.
That beat is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Dope video as always. Thanks for those tips fam👊🏽
No problem 👍 I got you Elshaw.
Great job man! Nasty Beat! Nice work flow.

Enjoyed watching you cook mate 👌
Gracias hermano por tu enseñanza, i from Colombia. ♥♥
Very inspiring the way you produce
loved this man! I've always had trouble with making some smooth bass lines especially if the sample chops doing a lot already!
Keep making videos man!
Love the content bruh! You got a sub one luv.
man, I was watching this and like 5 months ago I would have had no idea what he did, and though I still struggle with making beats like this, I got what he was doing and why. Ik it's random, but it was like that awe moment: progress!
Super dope to hear fam!! Appreciate you watching & tuning in. 🙏🏽
Thanks for showing the piano roll on the bass line, thats exactly what ive been needing to see. It’s hard to decipher the bass patterns just by listening because there’s so much other movement happening with the kicks and the other instruments, but seeing how your notes were patterned made me understand what i was hearing
Also that tom on the ‘turn around’ is dope, never heard that before. Sick beat and great video!
Glad to help fam!! Anytime you’re trying to learn bass lines, just get the main notes out. Then try to focus on the extra pieces. But I learned baselines by replaying my favorites.
Appreciate the deep dive into your fix chain for the bass🔥
No problem my friend!! I know it helps somebody. 💯💯
The way you chopped the conga loop was a stroke of genius 🔥 whole beat was flames. Great bassline tutorial, you made it look effortless. I’ve always struggled with baselines.
Thank you my friend!! I’ve been learning bass lines for years. And I actually just dropped a course available right now where I share all of my knowledge about making DOPE bass lines everytime. Check out the course here fam boombapuniversity.com/product/the-art-of-boom-bap-bass-lines-masterclass/
Thank you for the tutorial and what a great music!!! It is so deep and clever! Thank you, wish you all the best!!!

Dope beat. Good inspiration for me to get back on the grind
aaayyyyeeee!! do it.
Thank you for your reply!
Master Heat with his ways.
Your stuff has to be the best ive found. I like how you do it from scratch, as a beginner that's where I'm at, and I'm just starting out with koala sampler on a phone during my train commute. The way you explain the techniques is really helpful thank you.
Thank you for this my friend!! I’m glad I get to read comments like this. 🙏🏾💯💯 thanks for tuning in.
I felt the beat from the beginning
wow thank you so much. no joke it is now so much easier and u explained it really good.
Thanks fam
If you want to use the keys in FL try using Slice X. Mark your chops as regions and voila. No export needed.
If you have a properly tuned sample from splice or something similar it is easy to find the right notes. But most people that struggle with bass don't understand the basics. Tune your sample right and tune your bass to the sample. Remove clashing frequencies from the sample.
Nice. Great work.
Ur mix is crisp I be having trouble on it time to time
You are a genius my dude👍
I know tNice tutorials is an old video but I’m new and thank god I finally found you . Thank you for such an amazing and helpful video ❤️
Thanks for watching
This is dope!
Great video!! Thanks
Glad you liked it! appreciate you tuning in fam. 💯💯
Candela! Pure fire!
This beat was 🔥
gracias hermanoo, eres un genio!
I cut the samples in the slicex to use the stretches in the mpd.
congratulations🚀🚀🚀🚀
Its so cool, a lot of things to learn from your videos n stuff. Its kinda hard to make a nice subbass line or similar, its just hard to me to find the rootnote, its hardcore music theory stuff.
Anyway keep up the good videos. AS Pete Rock you mean the chopping style by key init, that's where I been learning chopping and sampling that guy is a god, always been a god for me since Im a kid lol. Also the J dilla Kick and snare kind of slicing is cool if someone is up top slicing. I been learning this inspirated by you and it became my favorite type of beatmaking lol.
Peace
Thanks for showing the guitarrig sauce, definitely finna start usin that insead of decapitator for a more grimy sound.
No problem!
Boi that shit sounds incredible 💯🔥
Thanks fam!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Been looking everywhere trying to find out what vst or sample people are using to get that deep sub bass tone that a lot of boom bap producers use.
That would make a dope tutorial
Просто напишу коммент что бы у тебя стало побольше подписчиков, спасибо за инструменталы.
Good stuffage!!
Glad you enjoyed it Keith!! 💯
Nice !! But ? What streaming software do you used because your audio sounds perfect.I can never get my streaming audio to sound good.
Thanks fam!! 💯 I use OBS Studio. Free software, very powerful as well.
Couldn't agree more!
Thanks fam
Peace! Where can I listen to the track from the intro? I thought it was in the description but it was a different beat. Thanks for the tutorial!

The vid i was looking for! Which version of guitar rig is it? Greetings from italy !!
Dope beat I like the boombap style . Bro I’m Big jah from Mozambique 🇲🇿 I like to know the right tempo for a hardcore boombap beat? Thanks 🙏🏽 god bless you
thanks for that tutorial. Got a question. That bass sound in KRS-One - Krazy. What is it called? And what vst could create it?
